i want to be able to play when i want to and not have to spend hours fine tuning my charachters face
plus i don't want to go mid game to discover that my pc has a super ugly nose
Can someone make a mod that will allow one to change appearance mid game?

Dont quote me on this but heres one way you could possibly do it.
Create a new character with the appearence you want, save the game then load that save into the toolset. Look for the appearence values for your PC (it might take abit of iniative, I dont know if its even possible but I should think it is), then make a note of them.
Then load a save from your main characters game into the toolset, and swap the values around.
I was going to try this myself the other day, but my save file was already too big so I didnt bother in the end. Im sure it would work though.

Create a shortcut on your desktop pointing to the Dragon Age executable "daorigins.exe", righ on this shortcut and click on properties. Make it look like this:
Now, start your game. Once in-game hit the tilde key (the one to the left of the 1). You won't see anything, but the console will be open. Now, the normal shortcuts wont work, like M for map, C por Charsheet and the like. That's because the console is activated.
Type the following:
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daorigins.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole

Type the following:
runscript chargenThis will take you to the character creation screen.

it can probably be done. I think the group doing the DAO->D&D conversion mention something about aging characters via scripting. So if they mean doing more than changing the value of your age, this might be a place to check.
