You humans are all racist. It's not considered lesbo, their entire species is female and they don't make those kind of observations toward romance.

But, you could always just flirt with Vega. I don't think he's a LI but he does flirt back here and there. He might be though, I might have just been locked out because of Garrus. Worth a try.

Vega is not an LI (no matter how much I wanted him to be when Kaidan was still Cerberus ranting)

Also looking at it from a human standpoint (because hey, I'm human) it IS a lesbian relationship. From Liara's standpoint its just a relationship.But like you said Liara came from a single sex species while Shep has come from a species with two distinct sexes. It's different.

But point of not enough HeteroFemShep stands IMO. At least, for gamers who haven't played one or two/aren't interested in Garrus/Kaidan.

There's one moment where he asks if you're flirting with him - in the hospital. And to get that you have to buy him present. And even then, he says "let me live in illusion" which is petty much "yeah probably not but iot's nice to delude myself you actually did flirt with me".

Ninjamance =/= someone politely asking Shep if he/she is interested. Ninjamance happens when you don't even realize your Shep is already in a relationship, when characters think Shep already commited to them in some way (the Liara-Shep-VS triangle scene in ME1 was exactly that; most players got it because the game almost automatically assumed that talking with Liara on anything = being interested in her). Nothing like that happens with Kaidan in ME3.

So how is it NOT considered homosexual? And when Asari refer to themselves they use the word "she."

Can't be as bad as Anders in DA2. Even when playing as a MaleHawke, he gets angry when you say you aren't interested and STILL acts like a jealous boyfriend for the majority of the game. I'd take "accidently" romancing Zevran as a Male Warden in DAO any day of the week over that.

i fell sorry for alot of fans the jacob fans the ones that wanted a joker romance and got edi and joker instead and the single straight femsheps that had Ash as VS all got the shaft.

QFT.  Loved Miranda, pissed she wasnt a squad member.  I never understood Tali, Ashley is bad, Kaidan is bland.  Miranda actually voices her opinion at the very least.

no, I have proven that you can lock yourself out of the romance in ME1 through something completely unrelated.  just like you can in ME3.  and you can lock yourself INTO the romance through something compeltely unrelated.  just like in ME3.  if you are paragon?  you are locked into romance.  and have to gothrough the awkward "you misunderstood" scene.  (and it especialy doesn't fit with your favorite idea of Kaidan not hitting on maleshep becaue he thought maleshep was straight.  umm  exactly how any of the non romantic options in ME3 suddenly give him the idea that maleshep is gay now?  that's right, they DON'T) if you are renegade?  forget the romance, you are not getting it, cause through something that has NOTHING to do with the romance and something that is a completely understandable valid dialogue choice, you locked yourself out

I get it that you love this.  I get it.  it feels horribly wrong for me, for reasons other then just horribly implemented triggers.  but you love it. I even understand why things that bug me, don't bug you - after all I like Jacob's romance in ME2.  good for you.  it STILL doesn't change the fact that the trigers are confusing and not readily apparent.  I had someone who was locked out of the romance they wanted to do, becasue they didn't realize they weren't supposed to use a "worry about the reapers" option on Mars.  there were people here who were just nice and got hit on, and were going WTH, becasue as far as they knew - they did NOTHING to warant that reaction. 

and btw?  try it without the alcohol.  I got the flirt like just by using paragon responces on Mars and saying that Horizon is done, period.  alcohol is extra, but its NOT the flirt trigger.  I tested it.  personaly.

Jacob wasn't my favorite but I romanced him for one of my characters... cheated on Kaidan because I was curious as to what would happen in ME3 :V harhar.

Although I heard that if you cheated on Kaidan you can reconcile a rekindle the romance. So knowing this, methinks I will just crawl back to Kaidan considering that Jacob ditched me XP

Irrelevant. It was shoddy storytelling and a smack in the face for those who did enjoy his relationship. We've already been told that some of the dialogue issues are due to a large writing group and forgetfulness. This was worse, IMHO- it was uncaring of a pre-existing population. If they can do refund dude and the blue rose of illium, they could have spared more for this.

I mean, I get that the more popular romances got more screen time (I felt spoilt with the amount of Garrus related romance dialogue), but I don't understand why they just completely axed it like that.

How does getting asked if you want to get into romance mean you're already locked in a romance lol? Guess I was locked into Jack, Liara, Tali, Ashley, Diana romances lol. People need to get over LIs making offers on their own. Some do that, some don't. Some characters will want to kill Shep on their own, some will do only if provoked by Shep first. Some characters will ask Shep to talk to them and help them with their fetch quest, some will not do anything until Shep him/herself walks to them and initiates the conversation.
