You have any idea how screwed over femshep, HETERO femshep mind you, is in ME 3?

You say something like that, makes me wish Miranda/Jack/Tali/Liara/Ashley did something along those lines as well.

THIS.

Unless you saved Kaidan in ME1 or romanced Garrus in ME2 (which is squicky to lots of people) you are completely out of luck in the romance department in ME3. Not only did they completely flip off Jacob and Thane romancers (I had Shepards who romanced both), but there was absolutely NO NEW ROMANCE for straight femshep. At all.

Gay manShep got: Cortez
Lesbian femShep got: Traynor
Straight manShep got : Allers

Straight FemShep got.....nothing. :crying: Not to mention that all of manShep's romances from ME2 could be continued while femShep has one romance die and the other one dumps her.

Why BioWare, why? Do you hate your female players? I feel like I got a lot more respect as a female player in the Dragon Age games than I did from ME3. :crying::crying::crying:

Jacob is like the second most hated character next to Ashley. Wish I had gotten the original script because I'd have saved Ash on Virmire just to pick Liara over her ANY DAY!

Why is Ash hated?

She's too damn sexy to be hated lol!

Besides can't a straight femshep go lesbian with traynor OR straight femshep + Vegga :D

Ok while I see your point, I have to disagree on Allers. I kicked her off my ship the first time she flirted with me. It was very much an "Oh... gtfo... now..." kind of moment.

Out of the blue, while Shepard is imprisoned for saving the galaxy again, he hooks up with another girl and gets her pregnant.

Way to faithful. Very classy, Bioware.

Chances are the same people that hooked up with Jacob already hooked up with someone else in ME1.

What comes around GOES around.

My femShep romanced Jacob and only Jacob. Not anyone from ME1, so yeah, way to generalize.

Vega hero worshipped Shepard far too much, its really subtle, but you get the hints every now and again.

I was surprised how blunt she was about it.  Also it came so early in the game.  The other LIs you had to work up to it.

I wasn't commenting on her character, my only point is that there was an OPTION. Something straight femsheps were never even offered. If you can't see the inequality in the way straight femsheps were treated in ME3, then I guess there is nothing I can say to convince you.

Ya the others all have a gradual build up to it (at least the ME1 and ME2 romances. I just carried over my Liara romance so really no idea how the others were handled in ME3.

Tali and her discussion of "trust" is hilarious.
Liara with her "I find you fascinating" dialogue is possibly the cutest thing ever.
Hell, I don't really like Ashley but hers isn't bad either.

Bioware doesn't hate female players or anything....unless you are a straight female.  They should have let you romance legion!!!!  OH wait...also dead.

Right?

It wouldn't be so disappointing if every other sexual orientation didn't have new romance. It feels like a blatant snub. :?

For all of those, "Who is Jacob/Who cares about Jacob" people posting, don't you think it's a little bit hard of you? I mean, okay he's not your fav character. But that doesn't make his fanbase any less valid than your fanbase.

If Liara or Tali or Garrus hooked up with another LI, how would you feel?

And then how would you feel if someone came in and went, "Oh, who was that again? I don't care I didn't even talk to that one."

I'm just saying, try to show some kindness here!

It just makes me really glad I found Jacob boring so decided not to romance him. Garrus and Thane were cool and I adore them, but I'm not attracted to aliens, so it made my no-romance play-through pretty easy. Guess my intuition on Jacob not being worth it worked out pretty well, too.

Still, a straight female Shepard is pretty much totally ****ed in ME 3. Especially if you didn't romance anyone in 2, you have basically NO romance options aside from Kaidan, and he's not even exclusive to Femshep now. In that way, what they did with Jacob and Thane was pretty lame. They didn't do any of that crap to Broshep's LI's.

Jacob's not a douche. He was your nice-guy from ME2. A bit bland to me, but a nice dude. Having him hook up with someone else without breaking up with Shepard first is just Not Cool, man.

I didnt romance Jacob but I am black and I was pissed to see Jacob turn into another stereotype.

Not only did he leave the Femsheps who romanced him without even a text he also got another girl pregnant... Seriously Bioware?

This is one thing that doesn't really need to be realistic in video games. People can appreciate having a character die or do something awesome or go evil, but having a character cheat on yours? That just feels like crap no matter what. No fun there.

There really should have been some good renegade responses to Brynn. I was shocked when I looked it up on Youtube and saw there weren't.

Yeah, though what he ended up doing made him a douche, in my opinion. Though I find it to be kind of out of character, so it doesn't sit well with me. For him to be with someone else is one thing, but to not even tell you and have a kid on the way is like rubbing salt in the wound. Pretty horrid move.

Personally I always counted Horizon as the virmire survivor breaking off the relationship if they were romanced in me1. Liara it's tricky to say since she pretty much frenches the hell out of you before pulling away.

Buuuutt Jacob on the other hand could not be any more stereotypical. Hell even Brynn ending up pregnant could come off as female black stereotype.

I don't know he kind of dumped Maranda too, then starts up another relationship, basically right in front of her.  So I think he is kind of a douche.
