............let me remind you these are the SAME rabid fans that have used their word of mouth internet posting to sing the praises of BioWare that have undoubtedly HELPED sales in the past. If they buy the product and find it distasteful, they have every right to complain.

This game was great unitl the last 10 min!
The series was awesome and if the writers wanted that ending, then so be it.
Just fix the bugs, server issues and give some cool DLC!

The dropped the ball on the ending and the they dropped the ball on SWTOR.

What is going on at bioware?

What else are people supposed to do?

I agree that a 2.5/5 is low for this game. Until the last ten minutes, I couldn't have been happier. However, the endings to this game completely ruined the experience for a lot of people. The fact of the matter is, when facing a gigantic corporation, how else is one to get their voice heard other than complaining about it?

We can talk about why it's important to "take the high road", and usually I'd be one of the first to agree. But if we're only outraged here in a bubble, what's to stop the company from pointing to a 4.5/5 and say "See? It's fine. Ignore them."

I don't enjoy that the only way to be heard is for us to scream as loud as we can, but with Bioware still refusing to come forth with a statement to at least attempt to placate us (for whatever good it may do) this kind of behavior will keep happening.

Do I like it? No. Do I understand it? Absolutely.

Fixed for you.

Correction. Bioware told the story it wanted to tell. You didn't like it. So now you are whining about it and actively campaigning to hurt Bioware in an effort to get them to change the story to something more appealing to you. I wonder if the people in Michelangelo's time attempted to get him to chop the penis off the statue of David to make it more palatable.

I must be weird or something. For 41:15 it was the best game I've ever played. I thought it successfully combined the best features of ME1 and ME2. And then the last 10 minutes seemed strange. Although I kind of like mind-bending stuff, so it was okay, even if it wasn't exactly what I wanted or expected. Still, if I reviewed it, I'd probably give the game a 9.6. I've already started my replay, and I'm already getting an urge to play through the entire trilogy yet again.

But as it turns out that I'm supposed to hate it and say it ruined the franchise and give it zero scores all over the place.  Even though I loved the game right up to the wacky part.

I can understand liking the game even after the end, but you're really replaying it? I found no replayability in this one like the  first two

No... you are welcome to think whatever you want. The fact that so many thousands of people agree with each other doesn't mean we're trying to change your mind.

Ya know, cept, Bioware touted this as a game whose story WE got to tell. If I wanted the same ending, I'd play Contra.

It's review bombing just like metacritic from people who have nothing to say beyond "I don't like the ending so the game get 1 star" which is not a good review.

Exactly.  Unfortunately, stuff like this gets touted as an example of people being entitled whiners.  A blurb and a 0/10 score makes it seem like it's just immature hatred.  Unfortunately, this is what those less familiar with the problem will see because it's more obvious that coming onto these forums and trying to understand why people are so mad.

It's official, you can't think before you type anything.

wow really ? go back and read a few comments because some posters actually have said its good

think before you speak young one

Yes, really. You just lumped people who are satisfied with people who are dissatisfied. Be specific. Only time will tell what Bioware was thinking with the endings and anything else that dissapointed people. I've made my peace, reserving my judgement with the game as a whole.

This coming from someone who thought very positive of the game. Thank you very much.

when people demand for a writter to be fired let alone say bioware is dead that to me says the so called fans wanted them to fail

i loved the game and my comments are torwards the people who demand the most idiotic things

i mean look at what posters have done already. by there actions we have a new rule of conduct thanks to them

what really bothers me is the ending is the only thing discussed wile the other 95$ of the game isnt

its like people feed off negativity around here and im sorry but im just at a point where im sick of seeing it and i will not leave because i have every right to be here

Correction, Casey Hudson from the VERY beginning SAID "THIS IS YOUR STORY, Everything you do effects what happens" Then all of a sudden Deus Ex comes along with a three ending choice and it's the greatest thing since sliced bread that BW has to copy it, including the colors.

Go to the Fallout Nexus modding community. They have tons of great Quality of Life and environment mods that are pretty much required. Specifically, mods that make it so your toon doesn't look like a skinny, fat-butted gorilla.

Better way to phrase, Sublyminal:

By not making Ending DLC, Bioware/EA will lose a tenth of a billion dollars.

Actually i did a little math. Assuming that a million people are dissatisfied (And let's face it that is likely a conservative bet), they will likely tell 4 or 5 friends (who don't play the game) that's 5 or 6 million people who will have a negative veiw of BioWare (and thus EA). At $60 a game that is a potential $360 million that BioWare (and by proxy EA) will lose out on if those people refuse to buy the BioWare brand.

It's been stated again and again.  This is not bioware's story on its own, this is Shepard's story as we choose it within the framework of game choices, a framework that bioware provides.  Within the last 5 minutes of the game they forgot all of this and force what they think should happen with a half assed deus ex machina and a deus ex ending completely independent of all choices we made up to that point.

I mean seriously, there's not even an ultimate failure where even shepard fails to reach the citadel, the reapers win and the cycle continues.  The worst that can happen is that earth is destroyed, but shep always deals with the reapers.  If that doesn't say forced end, I don't know what does.

... don't know what I said that made you want to say that. Whatever.

The reviews are actually pretty good so far, they underline the problems of the game quite well. So maybe that will give Bioware some additional food for thought. I guess we won't know until the release in Japan. I hope they'll say something.

Amazon should have a special feature for ME3's rating. Rate the ME3 up to 99% completion, and then a separate rating for the last ten minutes.. haha.

I would give 9/10 for the overall game. Strangely I don't know, the ending seriously have damaged my mental health state to a point where I can't even look at the disc nor the box anymore. It certainly feels like the game deserve 1/10 at least with such feelings but I can't do that. Really is hard to fairly judge this given how much ending mattered to the overall experience of the entire game regardless of how great the rest of the contents have been.

So far I will stay neutral and say 6/10.

Im confused. The link is to Amazon, where it still lists ME3 as $59.99. What is this price drop everyone is talking about?

( i checked Gamestop, Walmart.com, Origin store...same thing: $59.99)
