Why are we acting like this is the first time BiowarEA has screw us? Stroll on over to KOTOR, DA:pick your poison. How many people played DA2 and said on the forums man now I'll just wait for ME3? You can screw all of the people some of the time, and screw some of the people all the time but you can't screw with my Shepard. Bioware and more so EA have a history of screwing their customers this is a chance to either say "Hey wait guys look now we are really listening please help us out of this and we'll take it to heart let us make some things up to you" or "Hey guys we would rather go broke then listen to you and supply the product you like".

Ahhhh, I am very pleased. People, this is the only way to get their attention. Politely asking will get us nowhere. If we hit them in their weakest point (Their wallets) then they will maybe speak up. BioWare screwed alot of fans. They made promises that they didn't keep. And now, it is hurting them.

game gets terrible reviews, money men don't give funding for dlc.....good job team aiming for exactly what you don't want.

Cool.  What would YOU suggest we do?

No it hasnt, the game is perfectly fine, the ending is just confusing at best and confusing at worst.

You're disillusional if you believe all this rapid hate all over the net hasen't hurt sales or Biowares image.

What is truly unfortunate is that some of the more strident "Line-Holders" here think this is some kind of victory.  It really isn't, folks; in fact, it could backfire in the "Line-Holders'" faces.   Think about it: sales are dropping, the game is rating low...why should Bioware put anymore time and money into a game that people are already saying they won't spend money on?  This is why a boycott is just as foolhardy an idea.  Yeah, it sends a message, alright...but not the one you want them to receive.

So you suggest we don't say anything and just buy everything they throw out no matter the quality? Please, Bioware will either learn and grow stronger from this or it will fall to obsurity. Bioware's the only one at fault for all the hate and deserve every last bit of it.

Gamers aren't stupid, we hate being lied to and cheated.

Bottom line is that Bioware and EA are businesses. They exist to make money. Period. This isn't some indie developer making games for the love of it out of their basement.

They say they care about their players for the simple reason is that they want your money. I hate to shatter any misconceptions but its true.

The only way you can truly get their attention is to affect them in a way that will affect the shareholders, because the people who run EA (and own BW's soul) care a lot more about the shareholders than they do about you. Hurt the shareholders (affect the bottom line) and you'll get your point across.

I don't expect any sort of band-aid magic retcon. But I am a believer that if you make a mistake, then you should take the repercussions.

It is absolutely Bioware's right to make the ending into anything they want. They can have Day 1 DLC. This is their game. But then they have to be able to handle the repercussions of their decision now don't they?

BW/EA released this game knowing about the ME1 face import problem, and these endings. They are getting what they deserve. I paid money for something that wasn't finished.

HOLD THE LINE!!!

What's with the circlejerk over the perceived financial failure of ME3 here ?

I thought you wanted the endings fixed, not the ending of ME as a franchise ?

Agreed Hold The Line.

if you want your voice heard louder got to my blog which I have a link too in my Sig , click on my ME3 review and click on the links to my polls.

1. would you Boycott Bioware if they don't fix the endings
2. do you believe Multiplayer should have no impact on the single player campaign
3. Facebook Campaign demand better endings for ME3

I hate the endings as well but I still have this tiny feeling inside like my favourite series of all time doesn't deserve this.

The devs obviously worked so damn hard. Its just those ten minutes - in comparison, a minuscule part of the game - that I feel take away so much.

No one wants financial failure for any company. Those are real people with real lives. However, a business is in business because of it's customers. Sometimes businesses tend to forget that and need a wake up call. The financial downfalls do not occur because the customers are maliciously trying to bring the company down. They occur because the customer no longer wants to do business with the company. In this case Bioware released what we believe to be an unfinished product for it's flagship franchise. We are simply asking for Bioware to fix the product and make good on the promises they made to us. If they cannot do this, they will have to endure the repercussions that follow.

Sorry to say, but it's Devs who destroy theirs hard job. I love ME serie, I liked ME3 even it have some issues...well until the end. After ending, where I realized, that no matter what I will do and no matter which decision I will make, all universe is screwed, well...I can't see the point to play ME again. The "jurney" was amazing but the goal killed all fun for me. Now I done my second playtrought but I stuck in a middle of game, and to be honest I havn't heart for playing it right now....

I think that hope is turning into just pure hate for BioWare. They have given no official response at all. Complaining on the forums as usual did nothing. Getting civil and organized did nothing. Getting civil, organized, and donating to Child's Play to show how sincere we are did nothing. They kept silent, while snidely make jabs at their fan-base. Retweet sarcastic tweets, have ex-bioware employees go on rants about the fan-base, the list goes on. Their silence is going to be their downfall.

Actually, for me, after all those game articles and the re-tweets by BioWare devs calling us "Whiny" and "Entitled", I just kinda want to hurt their wallets now. Like Forbes, in so many words, said: Don't ****** off your fans.

I kind of agree with this, there would not even be a Mass Effect 3 if it wasn't for us fans!
So I think we're pretty damn "entitled", Mass Effect isn't just theirs, it's OURS.

Right off the bat, I hope that anyone who's so dissatisfied with the game that it's causing them mental anguish will, in fact, vote with their wallet and not support further Bioware products. That's your right, and your well-being as people should not be affected so by a game. If you feel that Bioware, or the gaming press, has disrespected you and discounted your opinion, then you really should leave this game behind. There are plenty of others out there.

Just gotta wonder, though...how many hours of entertainment have all the disappointed folks received from this game already?

For those of you who thought the endings were so abysmal as to destroy your faith in Bioware, that MUST mean you've finished the game yourselves, right? Because otherwise you'd be trashing a company based on random Youtube videos that you haven't even experienced in game yet.

So, you folks who have finished the game and hated it, you've gotten a _minimum_ of 15 hours' gameplay from it. Most likely closer to 30 hours. You may've played multiplayer for a few hours too.

So, you've gotten anywhere from 15-40 hours of gameplay at a cost of $80 for the Digital Deluxe/Collector's Edition. That's between $2 and $5 per hour. The cost per hour is even cheaper if you bought the regular edition. [Insert here now the standard argument about costs of lattes or burritos and a reiteration of the fact that all you got from those were calories and fat.]

And for those of you who really think that your gaming experience should cost _even less_, for a game that took dozens of worker-years to complete, you might want to step back and think about what art, or entertainment, or whatever you consider gaming, takes to create. $80 for a product that took entire teams of people multiple years to create is in no way overpriced.

Not the issue.. No one has denied enjoying the game. The ending makes no sense and gives no closure, but we were promised it would. The game was clearly rushed and incomplete.
