That's crap. you should all feel terrible.

Why should we feel terrible? I am one of the few that payed $80 goddamn dollars for this game. The endings alone made me wish I had waited and paid only $40 for it. Stop trying to make people feel bad because BW made a bad decision to go with the Deus Ex endings.

So your first thought was to **** on everything Bioware did? They put their heart and soul into this game, you may not have liked the endings but the game does not deserve this.  You people are acting like such children.

Who said I **** on anything? I legitely own ME1, ME2, ME3 - all the DLC. I have not reviewed the game at amazon or any place else, lowering it's score at all. BUT AS a business owner, if you put out a crap product you can't expect your customers to fall in line and be all happy about it.  Do I agree that it deserves a 2.5? **** no. I think it deserves a 4 for now, until it gets fixed.

I am an ME fanboy through and through but to see the series that I and so many others love turn to **** in the last five minutes, especially if you spent $80 on it, then  yea, that's a HUGE reason to be miffed. Your little guilt trips wont work on me son.

The endings warrant a rating of 1 star IMHO. They destroyed the entire trilogy in around 15 minutes.

because you know relying on ebay reviews to choose whether you'll buy something or not is a great idea, since it's written by nameless nobodies on the internet.

The ads screamed "TAKE BACK EARTH!"

Except that you don't. And the ending turns into some metaphysical nonsense that has almost no climax and certainly no resolution. Not to mention more plotholes than I can count.

Wait ... why would anyone be disappointed?

Wow, even I didn't expect this kind of price crash.

For those only reading the Amazon listed price, that's not what we're talking about.

Right. Gotta go with the critics who never rate anything below a 9.1

Well this is what happens when you botch the ending of a story driven game, I mean really a star child managed to do what Saren, T.I.M, and Harbinger could not...... break Shepard....... and yes i said ending, there were no endings just variations to the ending.

You know asides from bad reviews, the prices are actually normal. Amazon retail prices still remain the same $60 with 3rd party being $30-$40. Ive seen this with games like Skyrim.

You know, I was content to let you guys whine at walls here and just troll you, but now you're effecting the company and their income and are actively trying to make things worse. I'm getting pissed now, in what screwed up form of logic do you feel this helps get you what you want?

In Germany the former 74,90€ Mass Effect N7 CE is now at 69,90€ And the former 44,98 Standard Edition is now at 38,98 at some retailers!

This is not good. But it will be useful in our plea though I didn't want this. Hopefully this will be fixed in some way if they really decide to give us what we want!

But no reviews so far. I actually never seen many reviews on the german amazon anyway.

Geez, even though i hate the ending, the game still deserves a higher score than that! C'mon guys, this is going too far..

It's like going to a 5 star restaurant and having an amazing multicourse meal, only to be facepunched by the waiter on the way out. Regardless of how good everything was up until that point, all you can remember is the end tainting the whole experience. People are posting these reviews with a fresh black eye so of course it's not going to be pretty.

No matter how bad the ending was,
I don't think everyone should give it only 1 star based on the last 15 mins...

Basically how I feel. Now, don't get me wrong, I haven't given the game a low rating anywhere (Amazon or otherwise), but regardless I find it hard to blame those who do, since the endings DO destroy a great, long-running trilogy that a great amount of people have invested a lot of time and money in.

And you are? You're like one of 5% of the people that actually believe the games endings did the series justice instead of destroying it. Sorry, dude, that's not how things work.

And if the article in the OP is correct and orders have been cancelled and prices have dropped we stand a much better chance of getting these endings remedied.

Your right its also fair that companies pay big name reviewers for 9.5's and higher ratings

Come on, the game was perfect until the ending. Something like that deserves taking off two or maybe three stars from ten, not just spite-reviewing it at zero or one. I know how it's a complete about-face from the previous games' context, but everything else was so well done it deserves a better score than that.

What would be funny is if they planned a add like broken steel or something but due to price drops, fire sales and returns from bad reviews that are stupidly exagerated EA says not to release it due to there not being a big enough demand from people whohave the game still...

To be honest ... I didn't want this either.

I love ME and want the very best for the franchise. But ... it's nobody's fault but BioWare's for allowing that ****stain of an ending to be approved/pressed.

I agree that Mass Effect 3 was awesome, but I do agree that the game's plot was runied. We can unite synthetics and organics, only to be told it is not possible?

...and then you die.

I don't get this, so please explain this to me.  Many endings say that EDI walks out the door of the crashed Normandy, yet she's dead?  Maybe it's just me.....
