As for deserving a 1-star, this Amazon reviewer had a hilarious analogy:

"It may seem unfair to give a game this great one star, but the ending really is that bad. Imagine if you were writing a college paper on the civil war, and you were writing an excellent paper with multiple credible sources. Then all of a sudden on the last page, you start writing about how Thomas Jefferson rose from the grave and started raising an army of robot dinosaurs to help Robert E. Lee defeat the north. It dosen't matter how good your paper was up to that point, you would fail miserably and most likely be told to re submit your paper with a real ending. "

I LOL'd hard at that... Thanks:lol:

Oh MY

as seen here the price dropped for the PS3 and Xbox360 versions here in Canada

and here too the price dropped on the PC version

I think retailers are starting to get scared. If Walmart or Gamestop lower their prices, it could be very bad

I think this might just be a good thing.

When you think about it, giving something a 2.5 out of 5 is kind of justified if it is a great game, but the ending makes you lose all will to ever play it again. Also, there are some elements that are lacking that add to the 2.5 like say...the fact that you can't interact with your companions as much (you'd think with less companions you could interact with them more) at least while you're on board the Normandy. One cutscene or two of each character on the Citadel doesn't really make up for that. And you have to remember that the whole point of the game (gathering war assets) is basically pointless at the end because in some cases you don't even have to get all of the war assets to see all of the endings. It's not just the ending that is giving it a 2.5, but that is really helping.
