Woo, even on Amazone ME3 is taking a beating because of the ending? Well, we can still hope for a fix my friends.

If/when the endings get fixed or at least are patched to make sense, we'll all start a campaign to give the game its deserved 4.5-5* rating, because it should have that kind of rating, the game was that good but when in 10 minutes it nulls 120+hours minimum nof play time, thats pretty damn bad.

The endings warrant a rating of 1 star IMHO. They destroyed the entire trilogy in around 15 minutes.

Basically how I feel. Now, don't get me wrong, I haven't given the game a low rating anywhere (Amazon or otherwise), but regardless I find it hard to blame those who do, since the endings DO destroy a great, long-running trilogy that a great amount of people have invested a lot of time and money in.

Game is unplayable for me now...all 3 of them.

What is a customer suppose to do when it seems a company isn't listening to them?

What would be funny is if they planned a add like broken steel or something but due to price drops, fire sales and returns from bad reviews that are stupidly exagerated EA says not to release it due to there not being a big enough demand from people whohave the game still...

Wouldn't surprise me if this is something EA tries to pull. Getting kind of sick of EA tbh. They ruined Westwood Studios and the CnC series. I forgave them for it, now they ruin another GREAT series because of corporate greed.

Let's keep pushing.

And yes, I will do a five star review when the endings are fixed.

You know, I was content to let you guys whine at walls here and just troll you, but now you're effecting the company and their income and are actively trying to make things worse. I'm getting pissed now, in what screwed up form of logic do you feel this helps get you what you want?

the logic is simple its called capitalism... if people do not like something about a product then sales will drop

Best way to make a company listen to you is effect their wallet... It's sad but true.

Actually admitting to trolling those who don't like the ending probably isn't a very smart move.
No, trying to bring down Bioware won't actually help. However this is a sign that they will take serious notice, for good or bad.

In case you havn't realized (and apparently you havn't) we are deliberately hurting BioWare where it hurts (the wallet) in retaliation for what we interpret as BioWare lying to us in order to trick us into purchasing their product.

Now that we are actually getting results and leverage to get BioWare to acquiesce to out demand, you question our logic? We have a clear sign that our efforts are being successful, and we are deliberately punishing BioWare and EA for their abuse of our trust.

Shut up and pay more money.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I remember Fallout New Vegas taking a similar hit because of how buggy it was. I do remember for a fact that they had only announced they were only releasing one patch, but ended up releasing more to fix the bugs, to improve sales.

In Germany the former 74,90€ Mass Effect N7 CE is now at 69,90€ And the former 44,98 Standard Edition is now at 38,98 at some retailers!

This is not good. But it will be useful in our plea though I didn't want this. Hopefully this will be fixed in some way if they really decide to give us what we want!

But no reviews so far. I actually never seen many reviews on the german amazon anyway.

They have a HUGE problem in the EU, especially with Origin, as anyone can return a product if not satisfied 14 days after purchase.  I can tell you if this was possible here in the US I would return it.

Geez, even though i hate the ending, the game still deserves a higher score than that! C'mon guys, this is going too far..

It's like going to a 5 star restaurant and having an amazing multicourse meal, only to be facepunched by the waiter on the way out. Regardless of how good everything was up until that point, all you can remember is the end tainting the whole experience. People are posting these reviews with a fresh black eye so of course it's not going to be pretty.

Couldn't have summed it up better Image IPB

Come on, the game was perfect until the ending.

That's incorrect - the game has several other flaws, it's just that the endings happens to be the biggest one - or the one people are pissed the most about, anyway.

Well one of the best ways to get a company to listen is to hit them in thier wallet. <_<

Feel terrible about what? It's inconvenient for business that the internet has allowed word of mouth to be spread globally and digitally as opposed to through actual human interaction, but word of mouth is what sells a product in the free market. Word of mouth leads to more sales than discounts, freebies, advertising, and special content COMBINED by a ridiculous amount.

I understand people who like the game as it is being a disgruntled, so please don't think I'm attacking you, I am not, in any way. Obviously, though, the number of consumers who are happy with the product are far outweighed by those who are not, at this point. This of course is subject to change, but the decline in price is indicative of the demand for the game. Free market and all, it doesn't always work the way we hope it will.

Take heart, though, if you mostly like the game in the first place, then whatever people say about it shouldn't color opinion. And if you're distress stems from something more like worry that poor sales/reception might somehow mean you won't get more Mass Effect, I'd say don't worry too much. They still did two DLC's for DA 2 and it wasn't well received either.

I do agree that the poor reviews are mostly unfair (many of the bad reviews are not adequately backed up), however the backlash was inevitable from the moment people began finishing the game. This is just one of the "casualities" and I do not find it regretable or take any guilt from it in any way. Maybe BioWare will be more willing to make a statement and act on it. I believe they will do something other than telling us to "deal." This is just another nudge to get them to do it.

I don't get this, so please explain this to me.  Many endings say that EDI walks out the door of the crashed Normandy, yet she's dead?  Maybe it's just me.....

Your right its also fair that companies pay big name reviewers for 9.5's and higher ratings

If you think Bioware payed 49 review sites to give positive reviews then that's your own delusion and you can't be helped.

Wow. This is actually starting to work, isn't it? I mean, I love 95% of the game, and it deserves more than 2.5, but we're getting heard, I think.

What's working? Ensuring Bioware will never get the funding to start a new project again? You guys are being so stupid and counter productive....

If thats how they end their series, then good. i certainly wont be giving them more money.

Sigh...See the talk about changing the ending takes away from the problem WITH the ending. THAT IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. By talking about wanting it changed cause someone doesnt like it or it isnt happy enough or whatever, imo, actually hurts the discussion.

The problem isn't that the endings are sad, lack choice, lack a feeling of ramifications of choice, even if these are valid concerns. It is the that the ending, just does not make sense and is out of place with everything else in the series. Giving us the Mass Effect version of Q is just not that good.

They would make almost as much money as from an Ending DLC as they did from the game itself. Specifically, I think they should charge 9.99. I can absolutely say that 99.9% of the 3.5 million North American buyers would buy it. Now, what's 3.5M x 10 bucks?

Answer: way too much for Bioware to pass up.

Edit - forgive typos. Stinking iPad.
