Wow. This is actually starting to work, isn't it? I mean, I love 95% of the game, and it deserves more than 2.5, but we're getting heard, I think.

What's working? Ensuring Bioware will never get the funding to start a new project again? You guys are being so stupid and counter productive....

EA funds bioware now and will keep funding them since bioware sells no matter what... if DA 2 didnt stop EA funding nothing will

Bingo.

Holy cow. ME3 was an awesome game! A few cutscenes at the end don't ruin it!

Argh...sometimes I want to kick people. All people. Everywhere. If only I had some kind of giant...vaguely arthropoidal machine with Big Frickin' Lasers attached to its head.

Must begin planning.

Purposely giving the game a horrible rating as some form of revenge/protest  just because they disagree with the endings is pretty counterproductive because A) it accomplishes nothing and is not an incentive for the changes people want to take place and B) as a whole it was a great game. I think people should request changes/additional endings if they want them here/do their Twitter campaigns/whatever else -  not resort to this kind of thing to make their point.

Also, I'm willing to work as a henchperson on that project of yours as long as I get to operate the lasers.

Yeah, it sucks... because it is a good game. On the other hand, the ending disappointed a lot of people. The lesson here isn't that a bunch of whiners are dragging Bioware through the mud. It's that you'd better make sure the ending to your epic trilogy delivers on epicness. Continued silence doesn't help. Insulting the people hurt by the ending doesn't help. Trolling, most assuredly, does nothing to help.

Apparently if it's having a major effect, it's not the vocal minority any longer. I've never complained about anything Bioware has ever done, I've always defended them. I've always just rolled my eyes at people who complained, I avoid the forums to avoid what I saw as stupidity over little stuff.

This isn't a little thing, apparently the vocal minority are the people who think nothing is wrong. They also seem to be the ones throwing around the most insults.

The worst part is Origin blocking my trade in. I don't want this game anymore.

I believe the game deserves the score and sale drops. Many people invested in it unknowingly - I pre-ordered the CE in September, basing only on the reputation of the previous games; didn't even read any interviews so I didn't have high expectations they created with their PR. And I'm still disappointed.

And yes, I will do a five star review when the endings are fixed.

You know, I was content to let you guys whine at walls here and just troll you, but now you're effecting the company and their income and are actively trying to make things worse. I'm getting pissed now, in what screwed up form of logic do you feel this helps get you what you want?

Your right its also fair that companies pay big name reviewers for 9.5's and higher ratings

If you think Bioware payed 49 review sites to give positive reviews then that's your own delusion and you can't be helped.

And how much do youc are to bet that not ONE of those site reviewers finished the damn game? YOU CANNOT trust a game review site. They have what is called deadlines, you know if they don't get a review in on time it doesn't get posted etc. That's how the industry works.

What's especially bad is that it states that there are a myriad of endings right on Amazon!
People have a right to be angry, the ending voids all of your choices, not just one, or two, all of them. I spent hours changing the story to be the story I wanted, and then got an ending that didn't care, it feels like such a stab in the back that it deserves a 3.5 in my opinion.

Reviews are about people expressing their opinions on the game. I don't see how anyone can get mad when people, with valid reasons, rate the game how they feel. That's how it goes in the movies/game/really any entertainment industry. It should be about the gamers and if they are upset then the company should feel the effect especially when a series promises so much and delivers so little and the company chooses to say nothing about it.

To say that we should all rate them well and coddle them to keep the game looking good for the benefit of the rest of the series is as bad as when people say that we should go and rate it low with no reason. The series is great, the game is great, but the most crucial part is flawed. That makes it ripple back and lets it effect the whole series anyway.

People aren't being objective. The game AS A WHOLE was amazing; it's just the ending that blows.

First of all, it works both ways.  A terrible quest journal, a lack of textures, face import issue ... these things do not an AMAZING game make.

And then there's that ending, which pisses all over your journey.

I hope Bioware never fixes the endings and you people all follow up on your promises to never buy another Bioware game or DLC again. Then maybe the complaining will stop.

God, this sucks.

I can understand everyone's disappointment in the ending...but this game is way better than most if not all out there. Most here agree that this game is the best in the series regardless.

Two and a half stars? That's a damn shame. This is what happens when people just go all rage without articulating their thoughts in a cohesive manner and just try to mash everything.

Bioware still do something great with this game, and while this fanbase claims they are the biggest fans and that's why they want endings, they have no problem fouling this title every chance they get. All you are doing is ruining the Mass Effect franchise, making it less appealing to new comers, and broadening the scope of the relationship between Bioware and it's fanbase.

Seriously, this is ****. Three, four star ratings? Yeah, that's fair. One star ratings? An Uwe Boll movie has better ratings than this game. Is this really what you guys wanted?

In case you havn't realized (and apparently you havn't) we are deliberately hurting BioWare where it hurts (the wallet) in retaliation for what we interpret as BioWare lying to us in order to trick us into purchasing their product.

Now that we are actually getting results and leverage to get BioWare to acquiesce to out demand, you question our logic? We have a clear sign that our efforts are being successful, and we are deliberately punishing BioWare and EA for their abuse of our trust.

You have suceeded in nothing, Bioware still hasn't said a word. You just better hope Bioware has the means to fix this by the time you guys are done.

I dont think its entirely out of the realm of possibility for gaming sites to produce high reviews of products with a powerful presence behind them, though not directly in return for cash.

Though perhaps some would, honestly.

The ending retroactively ruins EVERYTHING. IN ALL THREE GAMES.
That's why it's so bad.

^^This. Times a thousand. I don't see why anyone should feel bad about a 2.5 rating on Amazon. IMO, it should go down more so more will cancel their orders. The folks at BioWare need to comprehend that they aren't as great as they think they are and that pleasing fans is what sells games. If they refuse to fix this - which does, indeed, appear to be the case - then those of us who are unhappy at getting screwed out of hundreds of hours of our lives and at least $180 of our hard earned money (the ending and lack of NPC interaction ruined the entire series for me and I have no desire to so much as look at any of the three games again...fix the ending and I can swallow the rest, no matter how bitter it is) need to make damn certain we never purchase another game that has BioWare's name on it, much less the EA label. The only way to see to it that company's understand the consequences of their choices is through their wallets.

Where's the price change? All I see are new games selling from between $55-60, and used games for $40. Why is that surprising?

First off it would be EA paying that and magically they have been cited
on paying for review scores and I didn't say every site I did say BIG
reviewers.

I am not obligated to give them my money just because they need it. I am free to voice my opinion and tell my fellow gamers and friends of what to expect with Mass Effect 3. I will not really going to get into talking about review articles however, they are free to voice whatever their opinion is regarding Bioware and the current situations.

Maybe, but it's also the only way to get results.

They have our money already, but we have now shown that we can prevent them from getting anyone else's.

I agree.  Why all of us?
I for one thought all of ME up until the ending was utterly incredible.  As did pretty much all of those who are pushing for the ending options.  Just because some critic gave it that score doesn't mean it's our fault.  If he heard us saying "the endings are just blah" and decided the whole game is that way, then that's just his stupidity.

I stand by my opinion.  ME3 is epic, until "the END".  And just "the END".

We have a pretty good review magazine here in Germany, who is always reporting when some company tries to bribe them or limits the screenshots or videos they are allowed to use.
