I curious as to what everyone else thinks is the most rewarding romance of the trilogy?
I for one pick kaidan but thats my opinion. what about u? who and why?

First I thought it's my fave LI but not sure anymore. While the scenes are beautiful, the illusion of a live relationship gets destroyed by Zaeed-like uninspired one-liners. Which is a real issue to me, I can't even fix it with headcanon

Most rewarding romance, although I never did it, is Garrus for sure. Lots of interactions ... he works as lover for fem!Shep and bro for male!Shep.

the only people i've romanced are kaidan, liara, tali, jacob, and garrus. with the exception of jacob i love all those relationships.so ur right saying that the rewarding will differ from person to person.

I go for Tali pretty much every time, I don't really have an interest in the others.

Personally, I feel like the Kaidan romance was worth the wait. I might do Liara's romance next, I'm really loving her friendship dialogue, and it's the only other romance that I feel spans all three games and is meaningful (since I can't romance Ash with a lady Shep...sadface).

It entirely depends on the player.

I romanced Garrus and it was awesome, I felt completely rewarded. I love the "friends to lovers" thing they've got going. From respect in ME1, to friendship in ME2, to love in ME3. I love the fact that he doesn't have to tell her he loves her, that it's obvious enough for both of them. The fact that he supports her and follows her no matter what, that he comforts her when she needs to be. That they tease each other.
I love that incredibly cheesy and adorable kiss he gives you on the Citadel, before proposing to shoot stuff for fun.

I loved all of it. So that's my answer. But again, it's a very subjective question.

This is all a matter of taste. In regards to ME3, I think all squad member romances are good. Unfortunately, the ME2 romances were neglected to varying degrees.

I loved the romance with Liara. Very well done.

Garrus was awesome as a friend and I imagine his romance is also great. Have yet to try Ashley and others, but looking forward to it.

I've only done Garrus and Kaidan's romances, both carried over from the last game, so can't really say with certainty. That and I'm biased as a bigger fan of Garrus.

I very much enjoyed Ashley's romance.

However, I feel like Liara and Garrus probably got the most interaction. Whether that makes it more rewarding is entirely up to you.

Tali of course, I think the whole section on Rannoch alone, where they say they love each other right before the Reaper fight.

It tends to feel to me that if there was a canon love interest it would be with Liara and it was very tempting for me to go back to her, but I still prefer being with Tali.

Agreed.  Pretty much the whole Rannoch section of the game sealed the deal for me.

at this point im only playing part 3 to see the Li story play out so i think im gonna import my tali love interest next since that section on rannoch seems awesome!
