I was playing Mass Effect 3 with my friends earlier and had been playing for quite a while. Then all of a sudden a game ends and up pops the first screen introducing me to the multiplayer along with the starter pack and battlefield 3 pack, as if i hadn't played it before!

I've looked around the internet and noticed that this appears to be an reccuring problem amongst many people! I play the game on an Xbox 360 and was just wondering if there's much i can do about it? I was quite chuffed when i unlocked the Salarian Engineer from my first crate only to have it taken away from me a few games later.

Thankfully i hadn't spent any microsoft points on the boxes so all-in-all it's not that serious, it just requires more time put into it and some luck in order to get it back. However if there was a way i could get my stuff back it would be muchly appreciated!

Just chatted with EA online help. They can't help out and said the developers are looking at the problem. I lost about 50 spectre packs that I used a lot of microsoft points on.

same except in my case i used bioware points, sure i can understand that because its a random box system thing (i dont know the actual name) that getting everything we had back is going to be close to impossible i can even understand getting the credits you earned for playing multiplayer back is going to be close to impossible but how about some refund or somthing for the bioware/microsoft/(what ever system sony uses) points.
(...... i will miss you vanguard drell with geth assult rifle, i never even got him to lvl 15)

Same here.
I just don't get how this has been a known issue for a week now with _no_ official statement, no disabling the option to buy packs for real money, no info on how to get a refund...
