I think we need to acknowledge the people who made that part of ME3 cause they did an incredible job. They aren't getting many shout outs with the huge fiasco. I'd like to thank those people who worked on the rest of the game who made such a stellar ride. The gameplay, narrative and visuals were so much better then anything we had ever seen out of Bioware. These people need praise and acknowledgement cause for the last 2+ years they have been working their butts off making a great peice of gaming history. Most everyone here agrees the rest of the game is incredible. Please show them you haven't forgotten about them.

Oh hoho that 99.9% is damn near perfection, but sad to say that 0.1% significantly destroy majority of the players hearts b.c how horrifyingly bad it is.

We do! The fact the rest of the game and series is so good makes the ending even worse.

99.8%. They still screwed up Tali's face royally. I mean, come on a photoshopped stockphoto? REALLY??

We haven't ignored the 95% of the game that was great. In fact, that's actually part of our argument. How can Bioware make a game that's so good and then fall flat on their faces for the final 10 minutes?

I acknowledge that 99% of the game was great.
Hmm, I don't feel any better though, maybe I need to say it under a red or perhaps green light?

Its irrelevant. The ending is what ruins the entire franchise. You spend 5 hours making a delicious Strawberry Cheesecake with whip cream from scratch. You savor the aroma about the house as your long hard dedication is showing the glorious signs of triumph. You take your fork in hand. Ready to savor the last morsel of delicious sweetness and then a dog comes and grabs the cheesecake, slobbers all over it and spits it back on your plate.
Would you be able to enjoy the 99% that came before the dog ruined it?

If you and I were best friends, and we hung out for 30 years. And then you chose to shoot my wife in the face, I'm not going to think "Well up until this point it was a pretty good friendship"

Completely agree... A few plot and decision holes. But that.1% is a killer

We have always acknowledge this fact as one of the main reasons that the ending is so inexcusable.

Considering that 99.9%'s purpose was to get you to the 0.1% I'd say it's entirely reasonable to feel that it was shallow and unfulfilled.

I always said ME3 was about to become my favorite game ever, then I got to the end and it ruined the whole trilogy and universe for me.

I'd say 95% and it was brilliant. I was having the most fun I'd ever had playing a game.

The game was great, and they do know that.
Its still a giant POS of though. If you destroy an entire game experience and a franchise in the process, its not a good game. 20 hours of fun isn't worth days of misery, and never being able to play anything in the franchise again.
That said, id really like to comment on the sound. Its soooooo good in this game. The guns, hitmarkers and all that stuff just feel so good.

None of us would even be here if we didn't feel this way.

ME3 is overrated in many ways. Its a Call of Duty with Aliens.

If you would just read the reviews in the review thread or the other mega-thread here you'd see it repeated many many times - we love the game/series right up until the end.

I don't think you'll find many, if any, who will say all but the final .5% was incredible.

Mathematically, 99.54% of my game was downright amazing.

It was never denied, was it?
It's pretty much what 99% of the fanbase says, 99% of the game is beyond good, it's epic to new levels. It's 1% of it that seems to nullify the integral trilogy.

Those people, me included, already acknowledge it. It's just the Endings that cancel everything that was beautiful and intriguing about the whole franchise.

ME3 was shaping up to be my favorite game ever, until Shep rode the magic space elevator.
