In the mars base at the point where Shepard uses the Cerberus soldiers microphone, pretends to be a cerberus soldier, and radios the other Cerberus soldiers to lure them into a trap. When Ashley suggests we flank them as they get off the tram and its time to move I cant move. I am stuck on the railing and crate beside it and cannot move. Ive tried reloading multiple times to no avail.

I cant wait until this buggy game gets patched. =\\

Im unable to proceed. This bug is game breaking. I dont want to start over just to get stuck here again.

Is there some kind of console command or something at least to 'noclip' out of there? I'd rather not restart the game again if I can get out of this.

OK here's the solution if you get stuck on the environment. This worked for me, reloaded and did the same thing and it worked again...

I ordered my squadmates to the same location, took cover and did the 'move around the corner' move around the crate I was stuck by. Squaddie was there and I got bumped off back into the game.

I'm getting a 'stuck' bug a lot during the galaxy scanning too.....and have to escape out (or let the reapers get me and die) and do it all over again....

Ugh, I just got stuck in the normandy cockpit after talking to joker and edi. I reloaded the save and am still stuck. I can always reload an earlier save, but that's a fair amount of stuff to redo. Sadly, this isn't the first time I've gotten stuck. I never had this problem in Mass Effect 1 or 2. There needs to be a "/stuck" button.

About the cockpit, I had the same happen. What I did to unlock myself was press "forward + strafe" and I got out easily.

Unfortunately I've been doing that frantically lol. I think I'll just have to reload the earlier save. Only about 20 mins of story to catch back up.

This happened to me. Had to back up to a earlier save... meh.

Is this a joke on teh dev's part akin to popping up obstacles and ending up outside the map in ME2?

I was able to get unstuck from the normandy by quick saving (F5 on keyboard) and then quick loading (F9) - I couldn't find the correct direction to face, plus forward/back, plus strafe to get free. I was then able to move after quick load.

If you get stuck in the environment, and your quicksave is not the most recent save, you can always try that.

Why is this marked as "Solved"? the solution to getting stuck is to reload? Thats not a "solution" its a temporary fix....
