I don't think people should compare this to movies or TV. In those, you're watching an experience. Fully formed characters that you're observing and rooting for. It's a spectator sport. With RPGs, you become the character. Or, more fittingly, the character becomes you. BioWare spends so much time trying to make you feel what Shepard feels, and suddenly all the emotion becomes so much stronger and personal. Why make us go out with dispair, especially when you can create as many endings as you want!

As their customer, I refuse to apologize for a lackluster ending that was full of holes and did not provide any sort of closure. The first two were cliffhangers, and even provided a sort of closure. This is an insult to myself and others who feel the same as I do.

No.
ALSO: Have you considered an apology for the false claim of a needed apology?

If you want my opinion, the BSN members are a lot more civil than the journalists from G4, IGN, Kotaku.
What are the members being grouped together and called now? "Rabid"? "Whiny"? "Entittled and Demanding"?
The answer is: All of the above.

I should apologize for praising Mass Effect 2, and saying Bioware can do whatever they want with their games.
This is bullsh*t. They ended the series in the most ridiculous fashion. What happened? Oh, they forced Drew Karpyshyn out to Texas and brought in people who can't write.

Bioware made a choice and most feel it is a wrong one. I agree with them and will not apologize for it.

I am not going to apologize for being constant and consistent with making constructive, rational and respectful criticism against Bioware's product.

I actually got upset when I was told my CE pre-order was cancelled 9 days before launch. I scrambled to find another, which I did luckily (at the time).
Now I can't complete the game, I actually can't bear to put my Shepards through such pain and mortification (I know its silly, but when you've grown up with the franchise, you grow attached). There were a lot of things off with the ending. I can happily admit Bioware produced a work that was incredible, with great character interaction and game play, but the endings ruined it; I really can't justify buying the CE now.
Neither could I justify buying the CE for DA2 either, come to think of it. At least DA2 was cheaper so I got over it. ME3 was anything but cheap. At least I don't live in Australia, apparently they had to pay $120 or something.

You shouldn't lump us all in to the same category. I have never insulted or spewed out obscenities at Bioware. Most of the people I see posting in here are very respectful with their criticism. There are a few recurring characters who insist on trolling, derailing, and all around immaturity. But they'll be here until they are banned.

DA2 - ehhhh, the first one was so good I'll give them a pass for that god-awful ending.
SWTOR - this is pretty cool.... whelp that was just a WoW clone.
ME3 - Ok really, you're just trolling now.
In less than 1 full year, March of 2011 DA2- March 2012 ME3, Bioware has managed to ****** away 12 years of fantastic games and support.

We need to apologize for nothing. If BioWare had some kind of plan they should've shared it with us; you know, their fans. The only reason we began the entire protest for new endings is so that those of us who did not recieve closure and satisfaction from the series could get it. We protested because we love series. Bad reviews of the game? So what? The ones that were backed up meant something and all the ones that were just people "bombing" mean nothing. I don't know about anyone else, but "I won't let fear compromise who I am." That's just one of the things Mass Effect helped me realize. The trilogy, the franchise as a whole, it had genuine influence on me, and the ending made all that feel worthless and like many others, I can't accept that. Sorry BioWare, as much as I believe you will do something about all this and you won't let us down, I don't believe that apologizing and giving in will encourage that decision.

Being "critical"?

OP is indoctrinated
There is nothing for apologize - nobody attacked Bioware. The game is perfect and everyone admits it. We just sharing our opinions, and the fact this opinions are similar should mean something.
With full respect to all Bioware team and thanks for their great work - end of story could be much better.
