How many of you actually read the post and didnt just see apologize?
Hmm... I see you all only see ME as the action shooter game most play it as, the first RPG player I see is one who knows how quickly games can change stories or outlooks, just look at Mass Effect. The endings were NOT MEANT to reflect our choices in the outcome. No, they were meant to reflect our choices back upon us, what have we done throughout our story? Our reactions? Our love? That was the ending of Mass Effect, not some bull**** happily ever after/hollywood badass ending like Halo or Call of Duty. Nor, some ending where oh no! The Reapers won! It is us, our choices, our attachments, our story, we are Mass Effect.
even if what you were saying were true, and not just your opinion of the ending, and it didn't contradict what bioware had actually promised, we still have the right to criticise what we like/dislike.

I'm in total agreement! Bioware emplyees insulting paying customers is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Just like lying to your fan base/ customers is NOT ACCEPTABLE!HeyUder wrote...
While the backlash has been extreme, sometimes extreme measures are needed to make a company take notice and listen. I can't get over those underhanded tweets and sarcasm by a few of the BW employees saying "Yeah, we'll change the ending of ME3. I'll be sending a ltter to have the ending of Gatsby changed too."
Yeah, OK. Take my $80 (collector's edition) and laugh at me, too. Not acceptable. You can disagree, but we make your living.
Edit : Hold the Line!

Uh, last time I checked pretty much everyone is aware that ME3 is an RPG and not an action shooter game, hence the issues with the lack of choice and the crackpot explanation made up at the last minute.

Most of us have been presenting our thoughts and arguments rationally and respectfully.

you know when DA2 was released my group of friends were bashing it and I was the only one defending Bioware....Ill just leave it at that.
I've defended it multiple times, said why there are choices there but it's a story that needed to be told and that theres power in remaining in one city trying to fix it (although I agree with the sentiment the city should have had different models to change depending on actions) and how those actions can have far reaching conciquences.
But atm I am beginning to regret that, I wonder if me doing that encouraged them to go round and pull this (not the same development team or the same thing but whether it created the slope). Especially as it looks more and more like they are turning round to give me the middle finger for doing it but ditching the story and making the choices not matter in animes and comics and books.
And I did defend them on here about multiple things of the game, Ive said most of it is great, touching etc. And I was massively wrong in my doubts of multiplayer. Although again they gave me the middle finger by making MP borderline requirement for the best (extra 5 seconds..big whoop) ending, even if you do everything in ME3 SP, especially if you've made a few "wrong" choices.
So no I don't owe them an apology, not for wanting a resolution with some upsides to the game, I have enough going on right now to be stressed out and down about I don't need a game to tell me life is rubbish, not a great hobby for me. If anything I feel owed a thank you and an apology. But as it stands I will accept to give them more money for a DLC ending alternative, hardly being rough on Bioware am I?
