i prob. wont get an answer from bioware on this but its worth a go, ign.com and other sources are hinting the dlc is comming sometime in April or May, and talks about a new map called Firebase: Hive which is a Close quarters collector ship, talks also about dlc weapons, and said if u own the from ashes dlc the truth dlc which this is being called is supposed to be free and contain the real ending of the single player campaign along with the new characters and races

I had my own thoughts on this new MP dlc. They're lengthy, spoilerific,
entirely speculative, and more to do with how it might tie in with the
SP ending than the MP mechanics, so I posted them here, in the SP discussion forum.

However, I can't resist adding my vote for the Volus Biotic God class

Far too soon for a ending dlc, I think the "Truth" DLC if at all real, is going to be about something other then the end.

You might already be. Apperantly the females look just about the same as the males.

Are you basing that on the comic? Because that was not canon. I've been told that there isn't any easily noticeable difference between male and female Turians.

I don't hold with all these Batarian Bashers out there, I have always thought the Batarians were pretty cool all in all.
Series would be one hell of a lot less enjoyable without them. Agreed? Good it's settledB).

Anyway, any DLC for ME3 should be welcomed, still, I'm sure anyone who is anyone couldn't resist playing as the Geth, I mean come on! Asari, okay but not really my cup of tea, Batarian, always seen as pretty awesome in my eyes, strong silent types really. Krogan Biotic though, that sounds like a recipe for destruction, remember Wrex in ME1? Simple answer; BossB).

I think we need the Male Quarians to put in an appearance, not just for Tali lovers wanting to act out strange fantasies, but because the Quarian people are pretty cool, all things considered.

If this is going to be genuine then I think we'll probably get some new maps, hopefully, Earth... Trenches, Reapers, and big f**king guns!!!

Still, notice I say "If", I don't assume, my Father often says "Assume makes an ass out of you and me." And I must agree, don't be deceived but don't be too skeptical either.

Anyway, "if" we get this DLC I for one would be pretty damn happy...

Just a little addition to the previous post- I am in no way shape or form a Tali hater, Tali's awesomes. Agreed? Good it's settledB). Also I'd probably be among the Tali lovers acting out those fantasies, serenading teammates with love songs...

I can't tell if Kolyat would be a positive or negative war asset.

On the one hand, he'd be like -1 War Assets because he's useless and would cry "Oh my gods" whenever you killed someone or he got shot.  (I have to add that I love Kolyat, he's a great character xD)

On the other hand, he took out the Krogan in like, what, 2 shots from a pistol?  Either he 1. got lucky. 2. knew where to shoot somehow for maximum pwnage. or 3. that was the weakest Krogan in the galaxy. 

In the case of #2 he'd be like +50 war assets. xD
