Since Wynne is unfortunately not an option, I will go with next oldest. The elven girl Zevran........hmm well had to acknowledge he is actual a male and I "role play" a homophobic character.....so well next oldest would be Morrigan. Good looking lady, definitely female, so she should be my first........ah damn just had to see, that she likes to turn into spiders and I "role play" a character who has arachnophobia, so that leaves Leliana. Lovely Leliana! Definitely a romance option and female, no shapeshifter and a red head! Love women with red hair! But damn had to hear her talk and she has a french accent and I .. ähh I mean my in game character is really francophobe! So well I guess I have to wait until my true love Wynne<3 gets a romance mod! Sigh!

Alistiar for me. 
Zevran gives me the creeps and neither of the female characters interest me all that much. Though I might try going after the one that is available for F/F romances just for the hell of it.

First female playthrough - definitely Alistair. First male playthrough - probably Leliana, since I doubt Morigan will agree with my choices.

I'm still after many many months torn between Leliana and Morrigan. I guess it will all come down to how they behave in the game. My character will be fairly good rather than bad however, so it might be easier to just go for Leliana.
But then again, who said romancing should be easy...

It really depends on how the romanceable characters will interact with my PC... if none of them can truly convince me as a possible romance for my city elf, then she won't romance anyone.
But characterwise it would probably be Alistair. But again, it depends on how he will interact with her.
For my second walkthrough I guess it would probably be no romance for my human mage. He's just the type to be completely oblivious to any attempts of flirtation, just focusing on the task ahead of stopping the blight...

well as far as being oblivious goes, I almost got the impression it would be the NPCs in that camp... like you really really have to initiate things: I don't know if this means you have to shove flowers in their face to acceptably "demonstrate your interest" or what. Kinda takes the spontaneity from building up flirtations, but I'm obviously thinking too hard. ><

I'll probably go with Morrigan as she isn't a religious crackpot like Leliana. I went with Liara in Mass Effect and wasn't regretting it at all when I came to learn that Ashley believes in God.

I am sure a mod likes this will come. Actually I think every char, besides dog, will get a romance mod over time.
