Hello. I just lost all my multiplayer characters, weapons, and attachements for them. I still kept all the levels for my classes, but none of my races are unlocked anymore. Is there anything Bioware can do about this for me? I have spent probably at least 30 hours in multiplayer, I was N7 level 87 (I don't know if I lost this, I was so ticked I immidetly quit playing), and have spend $20 on microsoft points to buy spectre, and veteran packs. I contacted EA here is what they said:

Anup: Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Anup how may I help you?
you: I just lost all of my multiplayer character races, weapons, and Mods in Mass Effect 3 for xbox 360.
you: Do you know how I can get them back? By any chance.
Anup: I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you due to this.
Anup: I do understand that, let me see what best I can do for you.
Anup: This is a known issue with the game and Bioware is working to fix it.
Anup:
Anup: This is a known issue with the game and Bioware is working to fix it.
you: Thanks, but after probably 60 hours spent in multiplayer, and $20 worth of microsoft points and apology isn't going to help make me feel better.
you: Well are they working on getting our stuff back?
Anup: Yes
you: Well how do I let them know this happened to me.
Anup: You can play multiplayer now but
Anup: o   avoiding going into the Store while 'Ready' for a multiplayer match. It's best to un-ready yourself before you go to the store.
Anup: o   not accepting invites while in the store/purchasing
Anup: Many players are facing such issues so please do not worry about this
you: I know now why it happened, I want to know how to get my weapons/ characters back, or the veteran/spectre packs back, or the dang microsoft points.
you: I apologize if I come of angry, or rude, but I am extremly mad/sad about this.
Anup: Please be patient it will be fixed soon
you: No offence, but I don't care if it will be fixed soon. I just want my stuff back.
Anup: Every thing will be fixed as our team is working on it
you: Okay thanks. Do I need to do anything so they know what I lost?
Anup: No, its a known issue so it will be fixed
Anup: Is there anything else I may assist you with today?
you: I know its a known issue, and that they are going to stop this from happening again, but will they actually give our items back? That is what I am worried about.
you: I mean if it takes a few days that is fine, but its not right to basically steal all of our items, and money, and then say well sorry for your loss, but atleast we are going to fix the issue, to keep it from happening again.
Anup: Our team is working to make it as it is
you: Okay, I guess. Thanks for the help.
Anup: Is there anything else I may assist you with today?
you: Have a great night/day. And, nope thats it.
Anup: Thank you for contacting EA and chatting with me. I do appreciate your time and have a great day!
you: You too.
Your chat transcript will be sent to (edited out by me) at the end of your chat session.
Your chat session has ended.

So was this guy lieing, or is bioware actually working on restoring our stuff too? Thanks for any help from anyone with any information, player, or moderators alike.

I just lost all of my unlocks too, which is really frustrating. I've saved up for about 4 spectre packs and unlocked most of the other races, and now its gone. I don't really care why it happened, I would just like a fix.

I haven't got my stuff back. I have no idea how bioware is going to tell who was affected by this glitch, and who wasn't. So I kind of doubt we will get our stuff back, but I certainly hope so. Completly agree McNally, I could care less on why it happened, I just want my races back, hell I could live with losing my carnifex, black widow, tempest ,ect.

good luck on that. support on TOR is equally bad. They said they were going to restore something to my account due to a glitch in the game. They said yes it will be mailed to you in game. 4 weeks(after putting in another ticket 3 days after the email) later and it still hasn't been mailed. I get a response to a tickett and they were like sorry we have no record of you losing an item in the mail.... Thank you for contacting support... FML.

Well, if this doesn't get resolved soon I'm washing my hands of Bioware. There are other games that I can play online, its just a shame that my efforts to enjoy this one are being sabotaged. I want to play this one, but I'm not going to waste my time working to unlock stuff just to lose it all at the drop of a hat.

Same thing just happened to me. Got ridiculously unhelpful customer support.

They said that it was probably due to the servers being overloaded (what?) and to wait 12-24 hours and it will, literally, "fix itself."

When I stated a bit of reluctance in believing that, they told me to make sure I log out and back into my gamertag profile so I got my Achievements back, then gave me oh so helpful links to Microsoft's help database to show me how to log in and out. Cuz you know, I was missing achievements, and not the stuff I very thoroughly stated that I lost, because of ME3/EA's online profile being reset, which has nothing to do with my gamertag minus the code tie-in.

Furious.

Gamertag: Cirrusstrafe in case it's needed for repairs, heard a rumor about that.

I can't believe EA hasn't responded with an answer for us. A simple yes, or no on restoring our items would be great.

Or just even the possibility of it. I mean, I would be fine if they didn't even restore all my crap but just gave me the net total of credits I was missing. At least then I'd have the enjoyment of doing a 150 pack grab bag reopening.

Bad thing is apparently I haven't learned my lesson. After losing $20 worth of stuff, and probably 250k+ credits (did at least four gold runs), I still spent another $10 to see if I could at least get some of my stuff back. I love this multiplayer and I want to play it, but I can't. Most of my classes are lvl 20, or 15+, but I still can't play on silver because my weapons suck. So I bought some $10 worth of Microsoft points and got Krogan Soldier, Hornet, and Geth Shotgun three times in a row (seriously not joking). This is beyond broken in my opinion. Bioware needs to refund us credits, or restore our items.

Sidenote: I think it might be possible for them to restore our items. I tried to create a new Salarian Engineer today and name him moord, and it wouldn't allow me. It said I needed to use a unique name. However, before I lost everything I had a Salarian Engineer named moord, so it must still remember that.

Just graduated with a BS in Comp Sci with a decent background in database utilities, it just kind of feels like it's failing at presenting our profile entries.

Seriously. That's why we have our levels still, our war readiness, our weapons and mods on guns that we have "locked" now in weird broken states on human characters, and the fact that it seems like it still kind of knows what we had but when it pulls the info to feed into our game when we log in it fails hardcore.

How old are you Brett? because in your conversation with apul (or whatever his name was) you come off as roughly 12.

If you had come to the forums and done a little research before harassing that guy (who was just doing his job, btw) you would have seen that dozens of people are having the problem and that the team at bioware is workig on a way to get everything that was lost back.

Just be patient, and if you're so pissed off about it, go play COD or something in the meantime. because, you know, stats NEVER get reset on COD... *sarcasm*

Lol I am 21, and you are the one that comes of childish. I was in my oppinion understandably angry. If I came off childish, I apologize to him, not you. He was the very first place I went when this happened to me, I didn't even have an account on these forums. So yes I may have overreacted but get over yourself. I am not the one trying to antagonize someone on the forums.

That sucks man. I couldn't imagine loosing all my stuff the first day. But, I have always though of Bioware as an awesome company so I am sure they will do everything they can to restore our stuff. I am just worried there may be nothing they can actually do.

That sucks. I hope they aren't intentionally trying to stonewall you by giving you tips on how to fix an unrelated issue.

I just think their CS is insane.

I sent them a good 1,000 word description of what happened, when, why, posted related forum links (like this one), explained how I already talked to a rep and got the "lol achievements" answer, explained thoroughly how this was not the case, and they still gave me this.

I just lost everything as well, I hadn't played that much but this was still an irritating set back. Stangely, it seems like my human classes that had unlockable weapons can still use those weapons as long as I do not try to change their weapons. At least, I could see that my BF3 soldier (after I reopened in BF3 pack from the store) still had a Carnifex and the same name as before, I didn't actually join a game to see if the weapon was actually there. When I tried editing my Engineer's weapons, they instantly  vanished from his inventory and only allowed me to select the default weapons. Honestly I didn't play enough yet to be too upset by this, however, if someone bought packs with Microsoft Points then it only seems fair that their items should be reimbursed. Hopefuly this gets resolved soon so I can safely enjoy multiplayer again.

Yeah, here's hoping they impliment a preventative measure for this happening, as well as a way to either return our items or better yet, refund us with in-game credits to account for the missing packs (whether bought with credits or money).

I would be fine with a total credit reimbursal, even if it's not all my stuff.

It'd be kind of fun to go on a 200 pack spree =P

Yeah, this just happened to me too. I emailed EA's tech support, and also live chatted with a rep for Mass Effect 3 and asked him if he knew if this issue was going to get fixed. He advised me to post on the forums about it and assured me that they are working hard to fix glitches in the game.
Hopefully I get my stuff back... I am N7 112.
We shall see.
