Quarian/Salarian Infiltrator (prefered) - Black Widow III/M98-Widow X/Geth Shotgun X. armor piercing spec/scope v extended barrel/clip capacity/ and mid-tier damage increase spec. I'm usually a good headshot or a reflexive sniper.
Salarian Engineer - Geth Plasma Shotgun X/M98-Widow X/ carnifax X - energy drain 6, durability decoy
Asari Adept (prefered) - warp/throw/stasis bubble, mid-tier carniflex viii/tempest x smg with ultralight materials
Drell Adept (prefered) - area reave/cluster grenades/drell assassin/fitness. mid-tier carniflex viii/tempest x smg with ultralight materials
Asari Vanguard - biotic charge/statis bubble/justicar/fitness. mid-tier carniflex viii/tempest x smg with ultralight materials.
Drell Vanguard - biotic charge/cluster grenades/drell assasin/fitness - disciple x or carnifax x.
Turian Soldier (prefered) - Tempest X SMG + ultralight materials/extended clip. Max rapid-fire marksman perks and everything else but grenades.

Did my first gold runs last night. Not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be.

I made the mistake of following forum advice though and going infil with a widow for the first Match. It was beyond miserable. I swear to god geth primes regen their shields in the time it takes you to reload one of those damn things. We made it to wave 9 and wiped. Normally have the high score in silver, came in third and the two higher people voted to kick me. =\\

Switched back to my normal carnifex + a class with reave, warp, or incinerate play style for the next two games and won them with the high scores like I'm used to on lesser difficulties. Yay.
