While Completing some Hub Missions, it says I received War Assets, but they do not appear on my Galactic Readiness, even though I did all three missions for Aria, the Blue Suns do not show up, but when talking to Aria, she says they did, likewise when I returned the Banner to the Turians in Purgatory, supposedly I got some Turian Assets, but they don't show up either.

The war assets dont get added to the Galactic Readiness percentages. They get added to the list under their specific races or organization name (Turian, Ex-Cerberus, Alliance, Salarian, etc). The Glactic Readiness is only affected by the co-op multiplayer.
As you do those collection missions (scannign for stuff like obelisks and banners) your war assets will increase and the bar on the bottom of the screen will grow

In my current playthrough, my readiness is currently at 69% but the green bar at the bottom is full. My EMS is roughly in the 6k range. Can I stop scanning/farming assets now?

EMS? What's that? I have no clue what a good number is for this game....I just completed my first playthru, an ME-2 import of my paragon Adept.....I'm very pissed

EMS is that number just below the Galactic Readiness; the one usually written in the 1000's range.

EMS is the effective military strength. From what I understand, the war assets add to this score, while the multiplayer adds to the galactic readiness.

Was never good with acronyms.....yea, my EMS was only 2533....crummy ending....it was well over the minimum bar but still crummy
