Guys if we do this, are you willing to commit to it 100% for months to come?

And, of course I'll do what needs to be done to make this happen.

Is it bad that I read other people's posts in the voice of their ME avatar (where applicable)? Because I can't stop doing it...

Easy. The Mass Effect universe is dead to me anyhow with the ending they gave it. Buying more content or merchandise is meaningless. Not even a "Sexual Encounters DLC with James Vega" could get me to invest more money into the franchise.

Like I have a feeling to play anymore anyway. The ending just literally get me out of game addiction into full depress mode. Not sure which is better, but yah.

I have to take medication for depression. The experience of this ending is a good a metaphor for it as anything else. :V

To OP. I can, right now as it stands an amazing game has been made fruitless in 10mins. I can't or don't care anymore. Even if they come out with a DLC adventure with Blasto, what’s the point in buying it, with endings that makes the whole thing fruitless.

The reason why ''I can't'' is mainly because I cared about the characters. If you ask veterans what they fought for, was it their country or the end goal, they will always say the people around them.

Holding the line.

I'll just use the downtime created by no further desire to replay any of the ME games... leaves me with some spare time.

If they give us ending downloadable content or an ending patch, I'll simmer down, until then, Bioware should consider itself to be in the same class as Lionhead.

And that's not a compliment.

I think I put more excited hours into the demo than I will the full game.  OK, not totally true, the majority of the game was terrifically fun but the gut punch at the end made me forget it all to the point that I'm not even going to bother the 3 other Sheps that I tediously perfected over the past 6 months in preparation.

Months are nothing compared to the 5 years I've invested in this series.  I refuse to accept that it ends like this.

Normally I'd still buy the dlc, DA2 was disappointing but still enjoyable and I still got all the DLC.  But this... The ending is so bad I literally have NO desire to even replay ANY of the games, let alone bother with some tacked on dlc they release.  Until I have satisfying closure (SATISFYING) they will not get another penny out of me.

So with the indoctrination theories going around they are starting to sound more and more believable. It would not surprise me if the current endings were priming the consumer base to purchase DLC of a "true" conclusion to the series. So maybe our concern shouldn't be wether or not they will make the DLC, but rather the price we will inevitably have to pay to finish our story.

So the question is, can you commit to this? This will take long time commitment of getting your messages across, and not buying Bioware's products.

Oh, that, and an Amazon 1 star review.

While I too have issues with the endings, the game, the FULL game, does NOT deserve a rating like that. 99.8% of it was brilliant, the best Bioware game I ever played. The endings aside, the only thing I hated was Thane being sidelined, esp. when romanced.

It does. The ending completely ruined it for me. COMPLETELY. I'll go so far as to recommend people NOT play ME1/ME2 because the overall climax of the series will ruin it for them. I wish I hadn't spent money on ME3, and I wish I hadn't spent 30-ish hour splaying it.

You are free to rate it higher; for me, Mass Effect has been ruined.

I'll give it a month. I don't think i have the energy to be as fervent about it after. i am however fervent with my wallet. No Bioware products ever agin unless they alter the end slightly to accomodate something more.....more than what is there....I'll decide if they offer what is enough. i'm only one person, but i stick to my guns....

I was really interested in Dragon Age III, you know, to hopefully save the series, but after I finished ME3, I really have no desire to pick up DAIII, or any other Bioware game anymore. I love C&C: Generals and was looking at C&C:G 2, but now...meh. I can find other things to spend my money on. Please Bioware, I loved, absolutely loved ME1 and 2 and DA:O. Please keep making great games like that. I promise I will buy them if you help me enjoy ME3 again. I still have 7 Sheps I want to send through it, but I can't bring myself to do it with the endings the way they are. I have never felt so empty after finishing a game. I have been sad, because I did in fact finish it, and it was over, but I knew I could play it again. Sadly that is not the case for ME3.
I will hold the line.
