Guys if we do this, are you willing to commit to it 100% for months to come?

I'm not sure I'll buy another bioware game, UNLESS it turns out this endnig was just a publicity stunt, holding back the real ending until game is fully released around the world or something planned.

If they REALLY thought this was going to be an okay ending, I'll buy the "fix our **** up" DLC, but seriously weigh any future bioware options.  Hold the Line!

We've all been burned before, but never to this level.
This was 5 years in the making. FIVE YEARS.
Our Shepards deserve more than this. The Mass Effect universe deserves more.

Don't give in. Don't get tired. Let's get the conclusion we deserve or let their DLC rot.
Hold the line.

I didn't like the ending...but there is no way Bioware is going to change it. Instead, when the Mass Effect MMO is released, you might have the option to mold what the legend of the Shepherd was, but that's about it.

Until we get a definitive word from Bioware, I will continue to voice my disdain at appropriate times and opportunities.

The catalyst told me i had three choices.

1. Blue, be sad and don't buy any DLC
2. Green...no more money for DLC
3. Red...be mad as hell and don't buy DLC..

So I guess I won't buy DLC....case closed.

I'll be happy if they just announce it. However, a lot of damage has been done. I gave it a fair, but low score on matacritic with a reasonable review. I sold my Xbox copy of the collector's edition back to gamestop. I requested a refund of my PC version, and being such a common customer there; got it. I convinced several friends not to buy the game, and will refuse to buy any further Bioware product no matter how much it hurts.

I love Bioware to death, but sometimes you have to show tough love.

Assuming that our campaign will get results, do you fully understand it's going to take a while before we do? From what I understand, Bioware probably won't even make an official statement on the endings, until at least the end of March. From there I even doubt that they'll announce plans for new ending DLC. So you'll have to keep the pressure on them for the months to come, and hit them where it hurts by not buying ANY of their products. In fact if we're going to be realisitc about this, if we do end up getting ending DLC, we probably won't see anything for almost a whole year.

So the question is, can you commit to this? This will take long time commitment of getting your messages across, and not buying Bioware's products.

I once thought that a new ending was needed then I watch this.

It made sense and the clues all added up.
Your wasting your time. I plan to wait and enjoy the other games that are our there, until something else comes out.

I'm not giving them a dime until they fix ME 3. They can have IGN rage all they want, no money will make them listen to us.

Holding the line, never thought I could play a Mass Effect game with one playthrough then be done with it.

This is the worst part, right here. I can't play it again, and the bulk of it was so good.

A bad intro, or one bad mission can both be ignored. A bad ending is something completely different, beause we have to make so many assumptions. It sours the entire experience.

Not to mention making no sense, blowing up the relays, stranding the crew, and nuking the citadel.

I will. And I won't spend a dime on another Bioware or EA product again until it's fixed. Already canceled my SWTOR account.

We've made too many compromises already; too many retreats. They invade our space and we fall back. They destroy entire worlds and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And we will make them pay for what they've done.

Opps Wrong universe.

2 days ago I would have said yes and I  even proclaimed ME3 was it for me. Now, a few days after the crap ending, the homicidal rage has subsided and I can live with knowing that Bioware simple screwed up (bad). In fact I was expecting them to screw up with the ending after the whole "I don't even like video games" crap Image IPB

Dragon Age II is a different problem completely. The ending may not have been what some, perhaps even most, people wanted; but it ended with Hawke continuing in assorted adventures, or at least implied to. Also, it wasn't established that DA2 would be anything more than a contained tale. I think most people who complained about that ending, were simply sore that the choices made in DAO didn't really materialise into any real impact. They may have also been upset that the Warden wasn't their character.

Regardless, the issue with ME3 as I understand, and agree, is that the precedent of impact for choices made seemed to be leading to a diverse set of conclusions. Three games of choices, brought down to a quick decision open to everyone. I, perhaps unlike most unsatisfied, do not mind Shepard's demise. In fact it would be nearly as bad for that not to be an option for an ill-prepared Shepard.

Beyond that, no set of choices leading to an ending where Shepard lives seems an oversight. I don't think that would be my choice of endings, but I think many people would want a happy ending. The huge problem with the ending is the complete destruction of any hope, and the defining feature of the ME galaxy. First off, ignoring Garrus and Liara being aboard the Normandy even though they were in my crew in the end, every participant (a collection of the galactic militaries) in the battle for Earth is stranded in the Solar System. The Destiny Ascension will just hang about in orbit of Earth. Then my crew, some brought through all three games, are marooned on a seemingly empty (of civilisation) planet. How nice is that. My little blue children will be stuck there with the 1500 year old graves of most of my crew. No closure on this otherwise magnificent tale that many of us have repeatedly played through (at least 2/3 of it.)

This business about the end being a hallucination seems plausible. However, I find it difficult to believe that Shepard would continue this 'dream' with his crew being stranded, not even with a hint of grief.

Let's be honest here, BioWare have no shame when it comes to retcons, and I don't mean thermal clips. I won't start listing as so far I've been able to overlook, sometimes with difficulty, them for the sake of immersion. Just retcon the end to something acceptable, give us a proper ending, a suitable ending, and most importantly, little blue children. Please, it isn't too much to ask.

And to the people not willing to pay for it, don't bother asking for it. If it happens, it won't be free. And your insistence that you will not pay for it, though perhaps not true, will simply make BioWare discount your request, and by extension the entire request.

Oh, and eh, we will hold the line!

It'll lose steam undoubtedly, but the people really dedicated can keep it going for sometime. BioWare's decision, either way, will be made within a month anyway. At that point even without an annoucement the movement could die, the decision was made.

If this fades in 2 weeks for any reason other than BioWare fixing the ending, it's because people have given up on BioWare, not because they've given up only on getting a proper ending to the series.

If this ends with a whimper, BioWare's days are numbered. That's not a threat, that's an assessment regarding a company that has abused its customers' trust.

I'll hold the line, but we need central leadership. Decepticons got everyone together in one central spot, and they were able to get an entire book reprinted. We have way more support on our side, but we need leadership. We need one central thread.

After finishing the game myself this afternoon (first time) I was heavily disappointed with the ending, great lead up and then poor execution of the finale. Even my wife who watched the endings on youtube pretty much has scoffed at the aspect of playing 3 now.

I am spreading the word in my town, Alot of people I work with wanted to know how it ended and now they know and are more willing to pay for skyrim or the witcher 2 enhanced ed for 360 or pc before they will go for ME3. and to quote my buddy who is a manager at a gamestop "we have been getting so many trade ins for ME3 its insane,"

I will hold the line!!!!!
