I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall at Bioware this morning. Since I couldn't be there, maybe the forums can put words into their mouths and speculate on what was said. I'm not creative enough to think of anything at the moment, but do you guys have any ideas?

Not sure if they are aware or believe anything is wrong.

Nothing. They are on EA-funded vacation now. With our blood money.

Yeah, that was overly dramatic.

Laughing their asses off at our pain and anguish? Yeah I'm a cynic.

I like to have the image in my head of almost all the writers sitting around a desk completely dumbstruck and facepalming, with one running and jumping around, pointing while yelling "I TOLD YOU SO! I TOLD YOU THEY'D HATE IT!"

They know nothing of our greatness. They are but cosmic dust being blown away by a great solar wind. We are bioware.

Even though they likely have a much delayed and filtered view of it, I like to believe to them, it looked much like Joker trying to outrun the energy wave, and they were just as dumbfounded as we were.

Either laughing at us because they know something we don't know.

Or absoloutely crushed at the explosion of internet commentary about the endings.

Yeah at this point they just don't care, there has been no reaction from them and its been days, and most bioware community leaders don't see the ending as a problem, but ''can understand where we are comming from.''
Which fair enough....Blah......

asking themselves how they can make us understand that what they wrote is a masterpiece.

i really don't think they'll admit, even to themselves, that the endings were garbage.

at best they'll just say the fans "don't get it".

You're a realist. I, too, think this is what they're doing, thrown in with counting their money.

And they're likely doing an extra happy jig for giving an extra severe screwing the fans who romanced Thane and Jacob (especially Thane, since they teased us with the "cures"). For that alone they deserve a one finger salute.

I can't imagine the Starchild BS being a unanimous decision. I hope the guy who objected during the production meetings was like, "I told you so..."

A. "Buncha whiners."

B. "Tony, you still think we should have the Catalyst in Dragon Age III? Maybe we should rethink that crossover..."
