The anti-salarian sentiment is upsetting, but that's a very funny and insightful piece ...for a Krogan.

The more I see other people donate, the more I want to donate for the third time. This snowball effect is killing me.

The Mass Effect facebook page has officially been taken over I believe. I see nothing but comments on the ending. https://www.facebook...k=wall&filter=1

Just for comparison purposes, we did in two days what multiple developers and publishers did in a month: http://us.movember.c...gamingchallenge (Scroll down for the Teams list)

Because message is really hitting a lot of different sites. People can ignore 1k, or even 5k. But REALLY hard to ignore...*checks*...37k.

Yes, agreed - but nice to have a positive spiral to balance the vortex of despair the endings have created in me...

Hey everybody, been away for about 15 hours. Any new developments? Last I checked Child's Play donations were at 25k.

This is all incredible. Incredible and moving. Thanks to the devs who, over the years, gave us a series, a whole galaxy of delightful characters, that so many feel so emotionally affected by. For the players, who are letting their voices be heard in a largely mature fashion, and putting their money where their mouth is. And for the people who organized this- when I first saw this charity, randomly browsing the forums, I knew contributing would be the right thing to do. So I did. And will contribute more later when I can toss some more money on my account. It's worth it for the kids, the fans, and the devs to keep fighting the good fight. Totally worth it.

But now I find myself looking at it differently. Even if we do not get new endings Mass Effect 3 is a masterpiece of gaming. It is a wounded masterpiece but it still qualifies as one in my book. Even if we don't get new endings I will love the Mass Effect universe and the time I can have in it in all three games. I will undoubtedly be playing back through all three at some point.

I wouldnt call it wounded. Up until the ending ME3 felt like its on par with ME1 just because of awesome gameplay and storytelling jumped in quality way over ME2, but the ending practically makes the game commit suicide in my eyes with shot to the head. After first few hours of denial it made me not even wanting to look at the whole serie for a day. Good portion of time felt wasted during the last 5 years.

Still, I am going to replay the game differently next weekend. It was fun for a two days and one night afterall. Posted Image

Im eventually planning to do a "worst possible" ME1-ME3 playthrough where I cripple myself as much as possible just to see what happens. Posted Image

NO!! This is what they want you to do! This is the 1st stage of acceptance!!

"We will NOT falter! We will NOT fall! In the battle for ME3.. We WILL - HOLD THE LINE!!!!"

Oh do not worry.  I am holding the line.  Just want to be entertained while doing it.  :o

You know I could be playing ME3 (Because I like the game, just disappointed with the endings) but I've had way too much fun watching this grow and all of the positive encouragement being spread. When I was the 17th donor bringing things up to $377 all I thought was "Maybe I can help make sure they break $1000". Instead I've just been blown away by the response to this.

When this thread started and we got the first few donations rolling in I was playing MP.

I've played 2-3 games since then because I've been more drawn by the incredible response this is drawing.

What a great idea this is, already donated!
Even if this does not help getting Bioware and EA's attention, I know that I have helped, even in just a small way, sick children getting the amazing experience that good games can provide!
