For my own sanity if a couple more people who donated could post verifications that their receipt correctly indicates Child's Play as the recipient of the donation, I would very much appreciate it.

The verification said it was for "Retake Mass Effect - Child's Play", but on PayPal it said it was going to the Child's Play foundation.

This is a very good cause, hopefully we can get the word out a bit. If there's anything we can do to help (beyond donations obviously ) just say so. We've managed to create the little community as a result of this situation.

I kinda like the fifth option the most. Gives a bit of an homage to Kirrahe feel to it, while keeping the important message bold and more of a focus of the poster.

Not much but I put in a $20 just now. It's win-win. I always talk about Child's Play but am usually not in a position to actually spend the money. For once I am so I am in.

ETA: Also made a post on the facebook page so other can see, hopefully the owner will put something official up later.

While it is very clear where the money really goes, it is important in a situation like this that it is ABUNDANTLY CLEAR that the money is going to an established, respectable charity

Sweet looks like 4 more people just donated and the $300 barrier was broken.  Remember to put a link to the thread in a status update on the BSN as well as tweeting and posting on facebook.  Even if you can't contribute getting eyes onboard is good!
