Grandpa was Marine, Hubby was Army, Cousin is AF and I was almost Navy.  Got really sick 3 weeks before Basic.  Doctors said I couldn't go.  Regardless of Branch, I want to say thank you to all the men and woman past and present for your service!

Corps is good folks, even if they're foreign nationals and whatnot. I'm surprised at the amount of serving/ex service here.

Air force huh? Thanks for all them free rides.

+1, and all that paperwork. Chairforce ftw, because rucking around is balls.

Marines and Army like Shepard, Ashley, Kaiden and James are great. But they can't get anywhere without pilots like Joker. Not to mention cargo frigates carrying supplies. Pilot and cargo... Both primarily Air Force jobs ;D All branches work together. You can't have one without the other. It's the glory of military. I wish the whole universe worked that way.

As I said. All of the military branches are one family. Brothers and sisters that all work together for the betterment of the country. I can't wait to begin my service =) I'm serving for six years off the bat. And considering resigning afterward for another six. I can't wait at all.

Right and as siblings messing with each other is a requirement

Then... Now hear this! Now hear this!

All Marines topside go below.

All Marines below go topside.

All Marines forward go aft.

All Marines aft go forward.

All Marines in the middle stand by to direct traffic!

That is all!

Stand By to Stand By!

I saw that when I was at the MEPS center =) It was neat to see all of the branches working together... Even if they were picking at each other in the process xD

Not to derail this topic... :P

Remember everyone, it's a long way to go till April 11th. I plan to be here the entire way! Pace yourself, never give up, keep thinking of how Shepard and the crew are counting on us, how much good we are doing for those kids in the hospitals.

Hold the line!

So much air! In Soviet Canuckistan, everyone works together! We have 'purple trades', that is, trades which are universal. It's not uncommon to slap hands with a Navy clerk before going to see a Chairforce medic about the horrible blisters on your Infantry feet.

I hope I get to be the Shepard of the Air Force <.< That would be epic. Paragon, of course. And with better endings. xD

We have make major headway with Bioware's Mass Effect twitter. Every tweet I see is acknowledging fan disappointment. It's absolutely wonderful and relieving to see this. It definitely gives me hope, and what's even better is we have helped many children along the way.

So I don't have any money to donate until I get paid on Friday, howerver; I was sitting there smoking my cigar and thinking. There some other things Paragon things we can do to draw attention to our cause. I for one was apalled at the extremely low score for Mass Effect 3 on Metacritic though I understand the underlying sentiment. While I hating the ending to ME 3, I think the people at BioWare who sacrificed their time with family, time with friends and all the other sacrifices deserve more for a game that was 99 percent awesome and deserve a more fair metacritic score. Therefore, in addition to donating money to this awesome cause, I think we should band together to try and raise that score and show that we are reasonable and don't want to spite BW. Plus, I think this would help our case with the short-sited articles that have been written by Kotaku, Destructiod and others about retakemasseffect. While I feel like many did, stabbed in the back, we are better than that and should HOLD THE LINE WITH HONOR and not disregard the sacrifices BW employees made to try and give us one of the most EPIC games ever. I am going to donate, I am going to give a 10/10 rating on metacritic to raise the score as much as I can as well as give a fair critic of the ending. Then I am going to go to sleep tonight and dream about an EPIC ending that I think we all know that BW can give us.

Hold the Line!

Seconded.

I actually really like this idea, it'll definitely help dispel some of the misconceptions about Retake.

Thanks! I really think this would help our cause, both for the ending and for the charity.  Hopefully we can get as many people on board as are donating.

To true, I loved everything about the game except the end. I would still score the game exceedingly high on everything else.  The end story didn't break the game, just the plot and all standards of sanity.

edit: bedtime

Any money that would have gone further into BioWare's DLC's for Mass Effect 3 is going to this drive instead; at the very least until the endings are fixed. I can only suggest other dissatisfied customers do the same.

At the very least you'll be able to take solace in the fact that you did something wonderful with your money, even if you failed to 'save the Galaxy' like you promised through Shepard.

Edit: Not to suggest the game wasn't a wonderful playthrough and that your money was ENTIRELY wasted on it. It's a beautiful game is all- and deserves a beautiful ending.

Started a second playthrough to place more strategic saves before key moments and finally fixed my Shep's face! It's like getting an old friend back. I missed her my first playthrough but was too excited to sit at the CC to get her just right.

Edit: And another post meant for the Kaidan thread winds up here. Sorry for the OTness.
