Yep, I am indeed the creator. Feel free to use it. I'm just here for the cause. Don't care for credit given.

Hey there Sl4sh3r, just wanted to say I really like the fleet tags you made up, and of course the one for our thread as well.  Thank you for those.

No problem man.

Thank YOU for setting up this amazing donation.

This is the best possible thing that could have ever happened to this community.

I'm proud of everyone and I'm so happy to be a part of this community.

Just wanted to say that this charity drive is a wonderful idea! My fiance and I were feeling kind of bummed upon finishing the game and then we found out about this constructive way to voice our un-thrilled-ness and help out kids in the process. We're both feeling a bit better now :)

Hold the line!

Oh... and on a side note... I am trying my hand at a little tribute video. :)
Not for anyone else... Just for us, the people in this thread, to share the great, warm feelings we are having.

This would be my first video made - ever - so it is going to be BAD. But hopefully, it can touch some of you - and remind us all of how our emotions were as this thing has built up!

I have a friend with a son with cancer and I am waiting for her to let me know if it is OK to use pictures of her son in the video (none BAD, just of his very cute smiling face!) and once she approves that (assuming she does) I'll post it on youtube for US.

Again, it is for us - not for trying to raise more money or building support. I just want a way to recognize all of you. (and it's going to be pretty poor quality too haha!)

Hold the line!

Speaking of tributes, I made this picture yesterday when the threads inspired me - shdws824.deviantart.com/art/Mordin-ME3-290233385

*edit: actually March 13th, gee look at the time!

I made this today:

Man, screw Dtoid. Used to be a big fan of theirs, but all their articles and videos about ME 3 fans are so venomous and hateful that I just don't want to be a part of their community anymore. Removed them from my bookmarks and unsubscribed from their YouTube channel.

Their BS has inspired me to make another donation. Time to fire up ye olde Paypal account...

Hold the line!

You know, I have bad issues with insomnia when I get stressed, angry or depressed. Like, even the SLIGHTEST hint of one of those emotions and I can't sleep. But this charity... I've been sleeping like a baby lately. Thank you =) Keelah Se'lai.

i myself happen to like the endings to a degree, however i do not like the complete lack of closure and the lack of taking my chances with letting the battle play out as is like this proposed alternate ending.

http://arkis.deviant...fset=0#comments

as such i also throw myself into the fold, that and donating to a worthy charity is just icing on the cake.

if BioWare will not listen then they are fools, we should eat them.

i will hold the line.

I'm curious, the ChipIn site list contributors as 1818; That seems like a ton of money to raise from barely 2k people.

Yeah. Yesterday, one person anonymously donated 10k. Before that, someone anonymously donated 1k. We have some heroes amongst us.

If you don't count the outliers (the $10,000 and the three $1,000 donations) it averages to a little under $17 per person. Perfectly reasonable.

I can't sleep. Couldn't last night either. Must keep refreshing the page.

Thats what I didn't like, the most important story element that carried through the games for most players were the characters, and there wasn't so much as a Monument to let me know my crew is dead.  Just liara walking off a plane after supposedly being blown up by a reaper on my final push to the citidale

$20 from me earlier today

I have the creeping suspicion that either Jennifer Hale or Seth Green is the 10k donater. I sent both of them messages about our cause, and then suddenly we got that mysterious donation.

Just donated.
It is for a good cause and I've never before been so disappointed in the ending of an rpg, let alone one of bioware's games.

I fully subscribe to everything "UniqueName001" has written about the ending and wjhat we as fans want, no rather need.

The existing endings have practically devastated me.

And might I add, I personally would like an ending where we get to see our Shep with his chosen LI in a happily everafter, because after everything he/she has been through, she/ he deserves to at least have a chance at that.

One thing I want to add here guys. I really hope most of you read this. Don't simply donate money for the sake of "buying new endings", donate because you legitimately want to help the organization the money is going to. If we do happen to get new endings or not, and people demand to get their money back, then those people should feel absolutely ashamed.

I doubt we would get 40,000 if it wasn't charity.
