I have the creeping suspicion that either Jennifer Hale or Seth Green is the 10k donater. I sent both of them messages about our cause, and then suddenly we got that mysterious donation.
I suspect so too.
Unfortunately, if it's someone from BioWare who's upset with the lack of conclusion, that probably means there aren't any current plans for a proper end. We'll just have to stand out ground.

One thing I want to add here guys. I really hope most of you read this. Don't simply donate money for the sake of "buying new endings", donate because you legitimately want to help the organization the money is going to. If we do happen to get new endings or not, and people demand to get their money back, then those people should feel absolutely ashamed.
You can say that again, they'd also be complete asinine morons.
Agreed
Money is money. Either way children are getting it who the hell cares otherwise?

That's just amazing! I'm so glad we can channel our frustration into a positive action.

Sure. I'm just saying do it for the right reasons is all. Anyone who has pitched in to help the organization is doing a very good thing.

A friend just showed me it; Aparently floating around the intra-webz. Some sort of lot about unlockables that are currently not available for Multiplayer being available, as well as already planned DLC (Perhaps?) for a more conclusive ending to ME3.
I also have another picture if you'd like to see, but this is literally a spoiler that you don't want to see unless you are ok with potentially ruining story elements.

If anyone has an account there, the author's got a good deal of it wrong. They think we're requesting new endings to every game in the trilogy.tn908205 wrote...

That pic is from 4chan so take it with a few tons of salt. Certainly not impossible but very likely a troll attempt.

I suppose it could be Hoax, although a DLC ending after getting their fan-base in an uproar could work for them marketing wise.
It also references the fact that the ending/such had a bit of leakage a short time before the game released, and that perhaps they held some of it back to make sure nothing came of that.
Especially if you consider the state of the community, with threads like this? Them releasing a DLC for the ending would seem nearly course of nature at this point, and to please fans, rather than simply a grab for money like if the ending had caused less upset. Just sayin.

I heard originally this was made by a 4chan troll. Take it with a heavy grain of salt.

I've been thinking about this for a little while now guys, and I want to get your opinion on this. Do you think, maybe, possibly, Bioware might be delaying an offical statement about the endings because it might hurt our charity drive?
That would be ironic as hell.
I doubt they would push back any announcements for our sake, but that does raise a good question. What happens to the charity drive if BioWare does announce different endings?

Fairly eloborate if it's a trolling, although I suppose it wouldn't be worth trolling with if it wasn't
I dunno, with the ending the way it was as it stands, I feel a lot more like the ENTIRE SERIES was just a faery tale made out to excite a child. Which wasn't crushing to me, but odd I thought.

It's still too early to tell whether that is the case or not, since the game was only released in Japan yesterday, but I have my doubts. However, the longer this charity goes on without a definitive answer the more plausible this idea becomes. Regardless, while it may have started as the fortunate side-effect of Bioware's silence, this charity has accomplished more than any of us had hoped for and I for one wouldn't mind Bioware keeping whatever they're planning to themselves just a bit longer if it means more money goes to charity.
Hold the line!
