Yeah, this is basically the coolest thing ever. A part of me almost wishes it was Kirrahe, but hey, Mordin says "hold the line", too, even if he's being referential.

Little jump around the time the forum started tearing into "Mass Effect 3: The Final Hours"

Quite a leap for me to assume they are related, but I'd like to think so.

I think at the rate we've been going, it's very possible.  Excellent work everyone, and hold the line!

I really think it would be better for this group to raise money for Bioware so they can make ending DLC rather than raise money for kids.

*headdesk*
I think even BioWare would rather we give it to the children. I mean, most of us would buy ending DLC anyways right? If there is a demand (and there is a HUGE one) Bioware will supply it and cash-in. Basic economics.

Besides, right now giving money to charity feels better than yelling "Shutup and take my money!" to Bioware.

Tell you what. If I can return my PC copy (doubtful due to DRM...) and decide to do so. I'll send the refund to this.

Whew, that makes me feel a bit less pathetic. It's hard to write a response paper on Latin American class structures when all this excitement and feels is happening.

A really good idea was posted in another thread just recently.  I forgot who posted it first sadly. :(

If we do indeed get an ending dlc and it costs money all proceeds should go to Child's Play.

Any thoughts on this?  I think its an excellent idea.

I'd be willing to put down money for that. :) But somehow I doubt EA, Microsoft and Sony would want to participate in that.. Especially Microsoft.. (read somewhere that free DLC is a no-no for them.. Can't remember where though.. Hope I'm wrong)

Not sure that's something we should try  force onto BioWare, especially as an ending DLC may cost them money to make. It'd be great if they did, but trying to force them into it would make us look bad. Besides, it may well have been them who donated that 10 grand...

Clarification: we should suggest it, but shouldn't push them.

Nobody should force Bioware to do anything, that's what makes this drive so great, we're asking for something. Not forcing them to do anything. It would be extremely generous of them though...

I think its a great idea, do i think its going to happen? Not very likely. Bioware might donate a portion of the proceeds, but i doubt they'd donate it all.

Still, i just donated 20$, not a whole bunch, but hopefully it will help. =)

That's actually an interesting topic. But maybe I'm just odd.

I kept checking this site and ChipIn while at work today. It cheered me up immensely. (my job = boring as hell)

Don't think we should suggest they donate profits. Way too easy I manipulate the sentiment. They know what we're doing and if they feel like regaining some pr I think they'll do something they deem appropriate

I agree it should not be a forced decision.  I doubt we could force them anyway.

I was just pointing out a good idea and expressing my support for it.
