Thank you BioWare for listening. We love your game, and just want to know that there is purpose in playing it again and again.
I completely agree!

Hold the line!
I hope there'll be a second big wave of donations once people get their paychecks. I know I will be donating again on the 26th.

Someone just had a brilliant idea in this thread:
The mascot of Retake Mass Effect should be Marauder Shields

As will I, I donated 20 dollars the first time, but thing is, there's only a current number of 2345 donators, which is a FRACTION of all the people upset about the ME3 ending - If everyone just donated one or two dollars it would make a HUGE difference. If you don't have a paypal account it takes a minute to sort out.

Aye, it's nothing for the individual but huge for the mass result, I wish people would see that, and if there's ANYTHING we really can do to convince Bioware it's through this - cause this goes beyond forums, this goes out into mass media. It was a big article today about this in the Entertainment section of my newspaper, we ar emaking a difference.
I know, I feel like shaking people and saying, "come on, just two dollars, it'll make you feel awesome!"

We made it to Eurogamer.net a second time!
"Meanwhile, the fan petition to change the game's endings has now raised over $50,000 for charity. The fan campaign has been appealing for funds to get the movement taken seriously by BioWare; money which it will then donate to gaming charity Child's Play."

Damn them, they need to get it right. We've already donated it, damn it -.-
Just read it on their website, and even though my german is pretty damn bad (I refuse to use google translate <_<), I got the impression that it's quite a nice and neutral article.Metathron80 wrote...

A german newspaper with a rly big reputation called "Die Zeit" also wrote today a article about it. It´s my favorite newspaper couldn´t imagine that they ever bring that story. Now I listening to Michael Kiwanuka and enjoy the first hot day in the year, such a beutiful day. Only Bioware can make it better.
Same here. No more money for swtor, no money for dlc.snajones wrote...
This, this and this.
I know I've seen lots of comments about people waiting for payday, which is totally understandable! Although it is for a good cause, I don't wish anyone to give up the money they need to live on.
(However, money you were setting aside for ME3 DLC? You can donate that... hehehe. I donated that, plus my SW:TOR account money (once I cancelled both of them) plus what I normally give to other charities monthly.
Word is just starting to get out. We have positive media perception for doing a GREAT thing with a "protest", which is normally very negative in nature. I think we can only go up as this gets more visible. April 11th is still a good distance away, so pace yourselves!! Lots more to come in, lots more happiness and joy and renewed faith in humanity to come!
Hold the line!
