At this point the anger has worn off over the ending debacle for me. Its now down to continued power of will in the face of this travesty. With any luck we can all persevere long enough to see the charity drive concluded, our requested changes are effected, or at very least Bioware gives us the brush off we're all secretly expecting.
Hold the line.
Hopefully the initial explosion of righteous indignation will turn into a slow simmer and continue to
permeate the forums to let Bioware know the feelings of betrayal are not just going to "go away".
For me, this drive is what keeps me going. I don't want to remember the Mass Effect series
with a pang of agony, so even if the resolution doesn't come, I'll have this great drive
and the awesome people associated with it to remember. If nothing else, we held the line
for the kids.

Goooooood morning, everyone. How are we looking? What's the charity at? Has BioWare said anything new yet? Also, the tinychat is up. www.tinychat.com/RetakeMassEffect3
Good morning! We've got $53,463.31and you didn't miss much.
It seems the Asian community is joining the uproar now that people there are getting to the endings.

I knew they would, lol. The difference between them and us is that THEY will actually riot in the streets over it while we're politely having a charity drive. Lol.

Don't know if this has been posted or not, but there is a new Forbes blog over the ME3 protests. Not really about our charity drive, but still an interesting read.
Wow that was a pretty good take on the matter. Made a lot of sense

I hope they'll riot by donating a lot of money, too.

I don't know who that Joel person is, but he doesn't know what he's talking about at all. He obviously didn't research his topic there.
EDIT:
That article was awesome. Though, that Joel person who sent him a letter obviously didn't investigate before he wrote the letter. And, honestly, he didn't know what he was talkinga bout. Erik Kain, as always, was fantastic as a writer and knew exactly what he was talking about.

This video was linked in the Forbes commentary on our "Entitlement". It does an amazing job explaining why calling fans, why calling customers "entitled" is utter BS - yet why it's so very convenient for big publishers and reviewers, and so very hurtful to gaming culture at large. Skip to about 10mins into the video, when he'll start tacking the issue regarding ME3

The restaurant analogy Kain made was very apt, it should be a no-brainer for most folks. I wonder why there is this odd disconnect?
It's human nature to be idiotic. Just by being intelligent, we have broken the system.

Nearly every "Fanbacklash" in these last few years was simply put down as unfounded idiocy and as such shut down and ridiculed by the gaming media.
But now here we are "holding the Line" while giving sound reasoning and actually uniting behind a common cause, without letting it erupt into one big (what's the word?) "%/§#storm".
The way the Fanbase handles this is a novelty and now that respectable Articles have been written, people out there start to take us more serious and actually think about what we are saying before simply dismissing it.
(Being one of the more attached Fanbases sure helped too)
Thanks for everyones participation so far and let's break the 60.000 today!

I support your efforts for a more comprehensive ending, even though I am happy with mine, it would be nice to see other types of endings, if not fuller endings. Most you lot are not rude and very appreciative of the rest of ME 3, which makes it easier for people not to be bitter to you. With enough efforts, I really think you can prevail. You will just have to lobby to the proper people through proper channels. I happen to live by Bioware Austin (though I know its not the same studio that made ME), maybe I can help? Good luck and Godspeed.
Thanks for your support. I'm glad that you can see our side of things even though you liked the ending. Hold the line! (I swear that phrase is becoming something akin to Keelah'selai to me now)

Ah an Austinite? Hit up 6th street for me! Or fourth. Thanks for the support though
