I know. Dangerous business. (Yes, we're back to English)
Though you know that Marauder Shields would be the image on their front page, right?

I donated when i got my tax return, as we go forward i see our numbers grow and the voice of thousands join us. This is almost like Shepard uniting the galaxy XD instead of reapers we're taking on Bioware and EA cant help but notice the similarities in it. Even if we dont succeed in getting a new ending we've done a positive thing for the world and hopefully set a precedent not only for future gamers but for the companies that gamers wont just lay down when we feel hurt.

I am personally against an active campaign to raise the scores on Metacritc/Amazon etc. First off let me say I haven't yet left an opinion on either and I'm not sure what I would post as my rating, But I will say when I was part of the ME: Deception campaign, which was pretty much the spiritual forerunner of the Retake ME3 movement I did leave multiple bad reviews using the accounts I managed for my family. My positive negative review is still up on Amazon.
Bioware/EA/Mass Effect has millions of dollar and huge corporations on their side. We've got numbers (maybe) and our voices. If you want to leave a review fine but don't make it some sort of campaign. While staying on the good side we must make sure we don't all clamber up onto high horses.
Agreed. Much as I love the idea of the charity drive and am wholeheartedly in support of it, I still feel like the best way to get to EA/Bioware is through their bank account, and right now, bad reviews will do that more than most other things.
I haven't left any reviews at all, personally - waiting to see what happens with the ending debacle first - but if I was going to leave one...yes, it would be bad. The endings killed the entire franchise for me - a fix will resuscitate it, but until that fix comes, frankly...it deserves a bad review, if only for that one (absolutely massive) reason.

This is a very valid point as well.

As for meta-critic don't think of me as cold but I think going after BW/EA's wallets is our best course of action coupled with our movement, the two together make an almost impossible to ignore message about giving ME3 the ending it deserves. I love Bioware but we must take a stand here, draw a line in the sand and say 'No More.'
Also sorry for all the little motivational quotes, guess Im feeling...epicy today.

Just keep at it guys. I know everyone says our odds are low or non-existant or impossible. But they are wrong, we are not asking for something totally unheard of...and even if we were, change must begin somewhere. We are the voice of that change, we are the voice that will tell game companies everywhere if you set a precedent like interactive endings, choice and epic scale, you had better damn well see that precedent through till the end. No longer will gamers be stepped on and trodden. We will fight from now on.

It's actually somewhat relevant to what is going on here. hah!
Anyway - some things to remember everyone:
1- The money goes to the charity regardless of BioWare doing anything. We are not "holding the money hostage" until we get our way.
2- Let's not stray from the original - beautiful SIMPLE formula that got us here in the first place. We have a clear mission defined on our petition we signed by donating money. We do not have to expand beyond that, or justify it to anyone.
3- Ignore the trolls. Feeding them only encourages them.
People should feel free to boycott BioWare products, write their congressman, boycott this weekends "event", try to raise money for BioWare to KEEP the endings the same - whatever they want to do!
But here - in this thread - this oh so awesomely POSITIVE thread, we just want to raise money for sick kids and kindly ask BioWare to deliver a new ending that the franchise deserves to have.
That's all, simple, positive and wonderful.
Hold the line!

Hm I like this. I think plain and simple is a good way to go. Less we write, less they have to spin into something negative.

It's a major german web-portal & email-provider. Tons of traffic on their site.
This is really starting to take off
To sum it up, they come across pretty sympathetic to our goals. They sum up what the movement does, and what it's all about, also mentioning the charity.
And while they don't take a clear pro-stance, they seem curious wether we'll be able to pull this off.
Hold the Line
