It has taken a few days of contemplation and the aid of a certain video to turn that opinion around. It is not untill you realize what might realy be going on that you appreciate the current ending. I'm certain you can find this somewhere else on this website, but i belive that everyone who is the least intrested in the ending to Mass effect 3 should watch this exceptionally well made video.

Oh so close to 55K
Keep holding the line for the kids and our hopes that BioWare can wake up from its corporate america indoctrination and remember the fans who love this franchise!

Btw, have you guys read THIS? Something Brent Knowles (the lead designer of Dragon Age: Origins) said about the endings of ME3. He's spot-on IMHO..
"End on a positive note. This is really important for video games...life
in general is full of s****y stuff happening all the time. When I
invest a hundred hours into a game I need to walk away feeling like a
hero."
So much of this ^^^^
as I said in the Megathread:
"One quick question that keeps nagging me:
While I am not totally commited to wanting a "happy, rainbowy" Ending, how would this ending even be possible?
Even
if we would rip the reapers apart and are all "We did it!" would that
allow for a perfectly happy ending for the Trilogy? We may have won the
final battle, but what about the sacrifices we made to get there?
Wouldn't the resulting Reflection of our Shepard (or his/her Squadmates
depending on Shepards Survival) in form of an epilogue still end quite
bittersweet?
(That's what I thought about the Lord of the Rings
Ending too actually. Live goes on and the enemy is vanquished, but the
fellowship still dwells on what happend for a long time)"

"I still despise its fig leaf fund drive for Child's Play, making that charity a human shield and a passive endorser of the cause's righteousness."
Well yeah I spare you my thoughts on that for now, need to keep a positive attitude...

Let them think whatever they want - we know what we are doing and why we are doing it. We don't need to justify or defend ourselves to anyone.

Also pretty sad when the lead writer of DA:O Agrees with us, perhaps it's time BW woke up and smelt the coffee here, when there own employees who made popular games quit and then say your doing it wrong...yea.

These are awesome...but can we get more colors than just white? I never buy white shirts because I have pets, and...well...
But if they come in grey, or blue, or pink, or something (and in a women's cut) I'll totally buy!

i love how he minimalizes the fact that, even if you don't agree with what everyone here has to say, a donation is being funded and people will benifit. then, in the very next sentence, he talks about the importance of maintaining a relationship with gamers and the product they buy. lol wow.

and this reply by atghunter:
"Two more quick points and I’ll close. First, the Child’s Play movement was brilliant. Notice over the past few days how some of the most visceral detractors to the outcry have had to shift their vitriol from “you’re spoiled selfish haters” to “sure you gave to charity, but you are spoiled selfish haters.” Nobody is drinking that Kool-Aid. Better yet, some outlets are now saying “maybe the game has problem but its still art” from the precedent message “best game ever.” That won’t fly with the mainstream. If its one thing they know is that when “art” hits the marketplace, it is a commodity, nothing more. You’ve changed the countermeasures from "unbiased" critics of the movement into drum beaters simply trying to get you angry. EA’s PR guys probably envy you (grudgingly) atm"
I think it is critical that we continue this movement.
Also, if anyone such as myself has not yet donated (which I will do right after writing this) do so now. We need to make the biggest noise we can possibly make.
