I would like to point something out.
Do you people realize how EA is likely viewing this event? They see that a handful of people (handful as opposed to the well over 2 Million copies they probably sold already), are really upset with the endings. And what do they do? They spend MORE money!
Doesn't matter where the money goes, the mere fact that you are willing to part with money for an ENDING that suits your tastes better (or IS better, regardless of how you look at it), just means one thing to EA. They can mess up endings in the future and possibly garner even more money by providing End Game DLC.
Child's Play is a great cause and all. But you guys are seriously going about your disappointment the wrong way.
Not to mention this guy who wants to take things to the FTC.
it is a possiblity that they will interpret it this way. But the fact is, donating to the charity demonstrates that we are wiling to vote with our wallets. And i can assure you that i for one, will a : never buy another bioware game if they ever pull anything this boneheaded again, and b: do not think that giving to charity is EVER the wrong way to do just about anything. Helping other people > just about anything else, regardless of how silly our reasons may seem.
