Has this been posted yet? Some really nice words about the charity.
Thanks for posting a link to my article, I didn't expect anyone to have even read it yet.
I'm all too happy to detail the wonderful ways in which this community are doing fantastic things, and I was trying to use this article to spread the word to others.
Thanks again for the link, I look forward to seeing just how much we can all do with this donation drive, and I also look forward to writing another article about whatever milestone this community breaks next - be it a huge number for the charity, or getting BioWare to change the endings.

Hmm, I already feel strange about this, and now I feel even more weird posting this in the (more or less) dead of night. I am conflicted whether to post this here since it smacks of self-promotion. But I thought I would let everyone know that a couple of us did get interviewed by a reporter from GameFront.com this afternoon. I truly hope I don't come off as trying to take credit for any of this, because none of this would have been possible without everyone here working together. In any case, after the... um... @#$%storm in this thread (http://social.biowar.../index/10201641), I thought I'd let everyone know what was coming and really hope everyone is OK with us doing the interview...
I fully trust you since you founded this group, i know you can do it. Good luck and HOLD THE LINE!
Blood Raptor Fleet backing you all the way. ^vv^

I'm cool with it. Though we may be a consensus, we still need a platform to voice our opinions.
I couldn't think of better people to do the interview than a few of the ones who have spearheaded the movement through organization of the community.

I was reading some of the posts by atghunter in the PR mega-forum and I think he has a piece of advice that we all may benefit from following.
The idea is that a motto, "hold the line" in our example, is not enough and he advocates using/including our actual reasons why we have issues with the game in our signatures and in reply when we bump a forum. It doesn't have to be in great detail but a link to the "what he dislike about the ME3 ending" thread or something like what I have included in my own signature (after seeing it in another BSNer) would really help the cause.
If you do plan on doing this, don't restrict yourselfs to the BSN. I think we all feel passionate enough about this and having it included in your sigs on other websites would really help increase awarness.
Well, that's about all I have to add tonight,
Hold the line!
P.S. Regardless, I still like the motto

I, for one, would gladly done the $79.99 refund into the Charity, to which I already donated. If only to make the point that I would rather give my money away than support a company that behaves in a manner that I don't like, or allow them to keep money for a product that doesn't perform to expectations.
Would anyone else be interested in giving this a go?

On a slightly unrelated note, I have decided to now end every post in a manner not unknown by followers of Chris Priestly's posts.

Made a post in another thread asking what might happen if we all asked for a refund. I think, obviously, that the idea has some merit, but I'm only linking it here because its original thread seems to be getting buried fast.
I posted this in that thread, but I'll post here as well because I think it is topical (quoting myself):
Rather than asking for a refund, I would like to challenge EA to
"match" our Child's play donation when the time runs out on the current
chip-in charity.
1 ) this would be a fantastic PR move on EA's
part and would show that they are paying attention to our desire to turn
our frustration into something positive.
2 ) It would benefit
the kids, and help motivate more people to join the drive to raise
funds. We have a lot more members of DemandABetterEnding than we do have
contributors to the charity (as fantasic as 65k sounds, imagine if all
39k of the facebook members donated just 4 dollars each!). I know not
everyone can donate, but having a 'competition' between us and EA would
be a healthy, positive thing, rather than a spiteful one.
Just a thought.
