Hope is alive in our world as much as it should be in Mass Effect.

It still shows that we only raised $100 for me. Why is that?
It's a cache problem. Open it in another browser

Try using a different browser. It won't update in Firefox for me but IE does just fine.

This sounds like a good idea, perhaps we could manage to get the dlc "free" to everyone by doing this. Outside of topic, how can I get that emblem of the American Fleet?

Is there a german one as well?

I think so--you can find different country banners here--

I think, if they come out and say that "We will be adding a patch that extends the ending of the game" then we should modify the donation to "Thank you for giving us what we wanted. To show our thanks, we will continue to support this cause." Or, better yet, they could make it a paid DLC but, like, %25 of the purchase goes to child's play. Just some thoughts, since I worry that if they do give us what we want, the donations will stop. And that would be a very sad thing.
Now that's a great idea. I would love it if they did this.

A+ post. If BioWare does end up giving us what we want, I think all of us who donated should hit ChipIn up for a second round.

Pathetic. Using sick children to get a selfish message out so people will change your video game because you don't like it. You're pathetic and an embarrassment to not only Mass Effect fans but to the human race. Its like a politician kissing a baby or visiting a disabled war veteran for a nice photo-op to get votes.
I think you're missing something very significant young man. I suggest you settle down the cynical venom-filled attacks and make a donation to a good charity.
Exactly.. . Were helping them out. We have just broke 3000 dollars. This will help some kids.
Were putting money we would use for DLC to something worth while. Think of the children.
What is amazing about this is the fact that in a horrible time for our community when a lot of us are hurt, is the fact we instead are standing up, and coming together to help people. There is nothing pathetic about that.
* EDIT * In the time it took to write this we have broken 4000..
