Oh Christ-I didn't bother to check.

None of these hospitals are psych units are they?

Good lord, I don't want my money inadvertently providing a copy of ME3 to play for some poor kid suffering from schizophrenia or manic depression. That would be horrible!

I think the kids are too young for Mass Effect.

I'm assuming it takes a while for donations to post as received?

Another article, now on Gadget Review.  He was a little over the top but still seemed to remain civil.  Check it out!

Child's Play only does "age appropriate" games. I doubt Mass Effect, or any game with an "M" rating (or even a "Teen" rating) is something they would purchase.

Assuming you were serious. :P

74K!!! Awesome job everyone! I love you all muchly!

Hold the line!

Maybe this has been posted, but this article is very positive towards the charity drive and the movement in general, even though he was generally okay with the ending.

I've been receiving pm's from someone who can't post because they don't own a copy of ME3. I thought they had some interesting things to say and thought I would just post their pm's here (I asked first, no worries)

"Hello Sir/Madam,

I am following the forums and discussions about
the ME3 ending(s?) but am not able to post there as i dont have the
game. Nor do i post on facebook because .. well i dont quite like that
medium.

That being said, the quote "hold the line" is a good one and indeed it is used in that inspirational speech on Virmire.

As
i am playing through ME1 and M2 over and over again, hopeing the issue
with ME3 finally gets adressed so i can get myself to finally purchase
the last piece of the trillogy aswell, i noticed one thing.

In
ME1 right at the start where you go to Chora''s Den to get a location on
Tali, as you enter the Den with your squad, you get into your first
reall fight ( not counting the 2 guys you fight the first time you go
there ).

Your squad and also the bad guys inside the Den repeatitly yell " Hold the Line!"

Now
it may not be as inspirational as the speech on Virmire, none the less i
have this odd feeling that right from the beginning you were given
advice about what was to come after the final days of the series have
passed.

I wish both the people fighting for a better ending and
Bioware to adress the issue all the luck and wisdom to get this
resolved.

The journey never ends, only the destination changes."

"Hello Nightfire78, thank you for your reply.

Please post any messages i send your way as you see fit.

I
am trying to figure out the reasoning behind the ending myself aswell
and if you could spare a moment to read this i would be greatfull.

First
of all, the indoctrination theme is way up on my list. It fits
perfectly and is, in my opinion, the only logical summary of the events
taking place during the final moments of ME3.

But logic and
debate aside on that subject, the current displayed feelings of betrayel
and request for altering the ending is equally understandable and would
have been also predictable.
You people are the heart of the fanbase,
the passionate followers of an awesome series i myself have only
recently started to play.

You all were given promisses of
closure in this last(?) episode of the game on many of the plots that
you encountered on your journey throughout the series and at the very
end those promisses were not met in the slightest. Instead you got left
wondering what just happened.

And eventhough a good debate about
the game is allways welcome, it is counter productive to have such
debates through means of hurting peoples expectations. It's feasting om
the "addictive" nature of the game where lots of people spend countless
hours travelling the journey in a multitude of settings and after
spending a good amounth of money to see where their journey leads them.

Will i buy ME3?
Most likely.

Why would i, after all that is going on at the moment and eventhough i allready know what is going to happen ?
Because
i want to end the journey aswell, countless times. And i too wish that
we get more content delivered that will place the current ending(s?)
into a devious plot.

It should have been ended with ME3 in a
proper way, and if not with this ME3 release then they should have been
more open about it before the game got released that it wouldnt end
right now.

If only they had said before the release: "Fans, we
are sorry but this ending will be so fricken big, we cant compile it
into one release. We want to make it extreemly epic. Not to grab every
last nickle from your pocket, well maybe we do but hey we're a bussiness
afterall. But more because we want to show you loyal fans that all your
hard work and dedication cant be finished within just one release. You
all are, and will allways be, the reason why we want to deliver
epicness. We hope you all understand our position."

Well, i am looking forward to playing ME3 none the less but i will also cherrish the thought that the journey hasnt ended yet.

The journey never ends, only the destination changes."

Sorry for wall of text

And also: it is so awesome how much money we have gathered for the kids. I can't wait to see how much it is by the end of the month! Keep it up guys and
Hold the line!

Well I was thinking about getting this "Final Hours of ME 3" App, to read about one thing that kept my head spinning all the Time. We knew that to unite the Galaxy, we would have to solve the differences between the Krogan and the Salarians/Turians and between the Quarians and the Geth. All of that was resolved to my (personal) satisfaction.

Since this is the End of the Shepard Trilogy I thought we would get much more Info about the Reapers and their Motives, simply because that was the only part of the story that was still a blank slate. Instead of being shown their Menace, they more seemed like glorified Roadblocks to me, with Cerberus being the more immediate Threat.

My hopes now rested on the Ending part, to show the might of the Reapers in full Force, "getting to know them" better and enjoying the Conclusion of everything up to that Point, which I will hopefully find hints of in the App. We all know How well my hpoes turned out in praxis, but I already typed about that.

(So much for trying to keep my thoughts short) :bandit:

TL;DR:

$2,99 for that and $7,01 for the Charity and the Speedrun,

Hold the Line fellow Paragons! ^_^

Once more into the breach...
And yes, I put some money in.  For an ending where diable the repers, and then leave the mass gates intact....and let things play out.  This way I can see if the Krogan keep their word, if the Rankni can find peace, and if the Geth and Quarians find a better tomorrow.  Oh and if Joker and EDI can make robot babies.

Or if not...what happens in the merged universe to all the above.

Its good to know that I wasn't the only one who actually felt weird about curing the genophage.  Especially after EDI's calculations about their reproduction rate.

I felt conflicted about that too and though I had confidence in Wrex's ability to lead, Eve is the one that really made me want to cure the Genophage. I felt that she would definitely keep Wrex, and by proxy all of the krogan, from giving in to their war like nature.

How else were we supposed to achieve our dream of entering a room as our favourite Commander and have dozens of little Krogan Babies turn to face us to uniformly say:

"Shepard"

noone?

Was that just me? :bandit:

Yeah, it was just you ... until just now.  Now I think it's going to be a very popular wished-for-ending.

And not to go all "little blue children" on you, but if Liara is your LI, one of those kids could be your 1/8th Krogan asari daughter ... Posted Image

Oh, also, I've seen a few people talk about a theme song for the movement...interestingly the "official" ME3 song fits...really well, lol.
