Seeing that flame war is so sad, but the thread was clearly attacking our movement and it was bound to be volatile. The sad part is our retake movement has been constantly under attack so our people are being worn down and tend to let their anger out I'm not disappointed in our members as we've been looked down upon and been trolled since the beginning.

But we shall hold the line, for the little blue children for our loves for OUR Shepards we shall never yield to the trolls to anyone we hold our civility forever paragons of protest

I am a fan, normally, of paraphrased Churchill.  Gandhi, I think, would be a better source of inspiration in this case (and more in keeping with the forum's rules).

Um...ok. I'm not quite sure what forum rule I broke with it, but sorry for whichever it was...just trying to be inspirational and using much better speakers than myself to do it.

Most of us can handle the pressure. I knew it was going to be a long, hard war when I signed up. If it gets to you, just take a breather, and then come back and hold the line some more. We are not giving up. We will keep the pressure on.

Together we will hold the line for as long as it takes.

Never said you broke the forum rules.  You're good.  Just my thoughts as a fellow gamer.  Sometimes I forget the "Moderator" sign above my pic can make people think I have a voice like Darth Vader's.

Aggression is the way to the Darks Side he probably mean, I think he´s right. So Gandhi fits us better... *bighug*

I don't normally post on forums or anything (I don't even own a cellphone!), but the ending of ME3 was so bad I actually felt the need to. My partner can't even bring himself to look at the box, his disappointment is so great! Is there an address I could write a letter to? I'd rather not email if at all possible, but I simply feel the need to pass along how 4 out of 4 players here found the game to be lacking. Thanks!

Tough one. For many have stated that we have no right to take the current endings away from those who, for whatever reason, liked them.

Still, I would be happy to see the Star Child gone, simply because I refuse to stand for his arbitrary Reaper logic, that goes against anything the series stood for up to that point.

I think the fact that Bioware games always tried to promote some sense of camaraderie and underlying hope, even in the face of insurmountable odds has done it's part to make these forums one of the friendliest on the internet.
And it's plain to see that tossing that message overboard has now undone much of that.

I gotta say that I am against blue children (and think that rabidly reposting that picture conveys the message that it's all we really care about). 
What I'm hoping for is simply an ending that achknowledges the faith in the main themes of the series. That diversity will triumph over egalitarianism (aKa Synthesis). That tolerance will triumph over hate (aKa Destruction). And that every persons right of self determination should never be undermined by a single being wielding absolute power (aKa Control).

That being said, I wholeheartedly agree that we shouldn't quote Churchill (nor Kirrahe). We should instead be quoting Ghandi, or maybe even Lincoln.
