Don't get me wrong, I would love for there to be an alternate ending.  But I hope no one thinks that the point of the drive is to get a free DLC or something similar.  We are not trying to shame Bioware; simply to show our passion for the game and story.

I don't expect anything to come from this as far as the ME3 ending goes but it picks up my spirits after playing through the last hour of ME3.

Good report me. Yeah its always trolling when someone calls you out on your bs and you got no defense for it. Shh everyone be nice a show we're reasonable charitable people so we get what we want. It's cool though. Everyone knows where your hearts are really at and its not with those kids.

This isn't going to affect Bioware/EA's response to anything. It's just a way to use some of the energy people are putting into this campaign (organizing groups and whatnot) and do something good with it. You have a group of people together with a common goal, it's the perfect opportunity to do something like this.

The money goes to child's play regardless...why don't you just go directly to their site and donate there? By donating on this page it just puts all our donations into one big total and shows that its from ME3 fans, nothing more.

I'm sorry it made you so angry.

If you feel bad then please don't. If you can't donate, for whatever reason, then nobody is going to hold it against you. Same goes to everyone else.

You can still help promote the cause.

There is always the Pre Paid Card Option, and even if you can't donate .. do what you can. Promote it.

I looked at this when it started as a way to support the community we have fostered recently and to do so as a means to help a very worthwhile charity.

But I'll admit to a bit of a selfish bit in that I've found as I refresh my ChipIn page like many of us are, that I'm channeling the negative feelings of the "endings" and the lack of communication with Bioware into a genuine positive interest in this endeavor producing a lot of money for these kids.

It's nice finding a positive in the situation when there's been a lot of negativity.

I don't have a whole lot of money at the moment, but I donated 5 bucks. Obviously from the banner in my sig, I'm in full support of RetakeMassEffect, and I think this is a great thing to do.At the very least, we know something good has come from all of this.

Remember ChipIn uses PAYPAL, not Credit cards! So if you have a bank account and feel the urge to donate, you just need a paypal.

Also yes please remember as much as we want a new ending, this drive isn't soley about that. Were trying to channel, as UN pointed out, our dissapointment and love of ME, into something good. Bioware should be proud that there game, even in dissapointment can push us to do something amazing.

I just donated $10 dollars. Even if BioWare doesn't fix the ending, I still feel I did something good. We're not doing this to be selfish. This is a good charity and I am glad to give to it.

No one is doing this to "use children" or whatever you're trying to say. It's, quite frankly, delusional to think that BioWare will even respond to the donation drive. This is just something positive for Mass Effect fans to do. Don't be a jerk.
