So
we're no longer to be associated with Child's Play? Makes me sad that
people have sent them hate mail and stuff, though it saddens me more
that they bowed to it. But i can understand that it's a difficult
position for them.
We managed to raise 80,000 dollars and that is
amazing, something to be genuinely proud of! You are all amazing, for
donating, for fighting for what you believe in and for holding that
line.
I will not move, i will continue to stay here and hold the line no matter what happens.
We did good, be proud!

A bump in the road was bound to happen. It always does in movements. Look at Occupy Wall Street. They had the cops beating people and spraying mace. Now we can always find another great charity to give to. Hopefully one not run by PA, since they seem to bash us and what we are fghting for.
Remember, there are alot of happy kids now because of our great community!
Thats the most important thing!
As for the poeple that wanted to get their money back from a charity, "expletive deleted" them.
We should refocus, find a new charity, AND HOLD THE LINE!
and just like occupy wall street you guys arent clear on what you want and secondly you guys are far from a movment
alot of you blindly doanted to something in wich you though bioware would make something for you am i right or am i wrong?
But hey Troll on guy, your on a roll so far.
you know what your going to have to live with what your doing
i am done and i am out of this thread before i really give you a piece of my mind
If I were you I use that piece to help you make an argument.

Agreed. I already saw one thread locked for apparently accusations that BioWare and/or EA bought off review sites. Accusations, I might add, that I never saw outside of one, perhaps two points.

Real constructive point you have there Tazz. Still trying to belittle us off of what the random public does?

Alright everyone. I am going out. This is hilarious. I have work in two hours, so much for sleep.
However, before I go I must say to all of you the following.
I have done my best to calm things down. Please remain civil. DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS. Report them. If they keep flame baiting keep reporting, DO NOT COMMENT. It only hurts us, and you will more then likely get banned as well. Please share this with all members.
Its been a very long day. A very emotional day. Do not give up. It has just begun. Rage is not way, civility is. If you must use rage, use it constructively such as reporting, or capturing important news quotes and forwarding them to our supporters and website supporters.
Shepard believed in hope, SO SHOULD WE.
I believe in each and every one of you. We must stand together. We may not always see eye to eye, but we must continue to stand together for this to succeed.
WE WILL HOLD THE LINE.
GOODNIGHT!

Despite being the minority it seems, the people who sent hate mail to Child's Play should be ashamed. Very ashamed.

As I said on another thread. True, ppl demanding a return from a donation are GARBAGE.
But don't you find funny Child's Play reason to stop accepting donations?
It's been roughly 3 weeks since this started, and so far the fans have destined more than 70.000 dollars to charity. Now, after all that money is and after all this time, Child's Play say that they can't accept money from RetakeME3 because they are being to closely associated with the movement; its a thing recognized by fundraiser's policy. Couldn't they notice this or say it when all this started? Why they took 3 weeks to inform RetakeME3 movement on this problem and didn't stopped accepting money before? I'm not being sarcastic as I also said on the other thread, I just want to know why.

They hadn't run into this issue before. So it takes time to sort out before you make a policy. And tbh looking through their stuff it's not the most coherent organized charity I've seen.
