Reading his statement on it, it mentions a high number of people asking for thier money back, and that they had to change the rules because of everything this retake movement has caused, and this has never happened in the 10 years of this charity.
But I guess you could ignore the high number of people demanding their money back once they realised the money was going to sick kids and not the ending of ME3 part if it helps you.
I can't speak for anyone asking for their money back, but as a donater, I didn't, and I donated more than two games worth to it.

So no matter what trolls say, even if they reply to this post, just ignore them and go on as if they never posted anything. They'll get bored and wander off. They won't drag us down to their level.
Hold the Line.

I kinda wish we were, if there was a way to go without putting money in Penny Arcade's pocket.

All we can really do outside of constantly refreshing what's wrong with this game and how BioWare lied to us about a great many things, is to wait until April, if they reveal they screwed us over, then we can show how big a backlash that will create.
Yeah that's kinda why we're trying to find ideas to focus our energy into something positive (other than charity) while waiting for April to bring good news.

Hopefully PAX will bring some answers and be a civil discourse rather than either a stonewall or immature debacle. The best way to remind everyone how dissatisfied most folks are with the endings is to not drop it, and not be apathetic. We don't want (at least I don't)want to turn away from Bioware and say: "well, they don't listen and I can't trust their product anymore".
I'm sure no one wants that. This movement wouldn't exist if we wanted that.
I want them to succeed, and us to succeed.
edit: on Origin now if anywone want to play - same name as I've got here.

Good review of ME3.
" the confusion and anger that occurs when you’ve witnessed a crime you could do nothing to stop. "
Wow, that was well put - pretty in depth review too.

Unininformed, misrepresentative, idiotic dross.
Not only does he make the fatuous claim that having not played ME3 gives him some kind of magical perspective on the matter (I know nothing about child soldiers in central Africa - this fact does not equip me with the ability to see a way to sort it out), but he goes on to say that wanting to change the endings would damage creativity in games. The whole problem with the endings is their lack of creativity. Supporting BioWare's decision to use a lazy twist ending that disregards everything that came before is tacit approval for other developers to do the same. His argument is bass ackwards.
We not only have to win this fight for ME3, but for the future of storytelling in games. We must not let developers use the label "art" as a shield against criticism. Lack of critical analysis, and lack of accountability, inevitably breeds lazy artists.
We must hold the line.

He also says "
But consider this also: Star Wars’ reality is so rich and fully-formed that it has been able to support so much expanded-universe content that there’s way, way more for fans to explore and enjoy beyond the movies and their various successes and failings. And they do. And so too can be the case with Mass Effect. " Which...is impossible if they don't change the ending.
