I remember Voice of Fire sold to the National Gallery of Canada for some huge sum.

Yeah, but it isn't about this kind of "crap", that's abstract art.
No, if you want to do a regular painting and get everything wrong, but still defend it as art, that is what we have here.

True enough - this is a masterwork where the patron was promised something - a masterpiece delivered, but the promise not included. It's a hell of a quandry.

Me. Got two posters so far (one of which you've already seen),  not sure if I'll also do any original artwork yet.

Photomanipulations should be acceptable, in my opinion. 3D stuff too.

I'll see if I can participate, if the deadline is April 5th, I might not have enough time.


Also, just wondering, in the art contest, we can't feature anything that might happen after the end of the game? Like, can I paint Shepard + Liara + blue baby? :happy:

It took me forever, but I finally got through the 20+ pages of stuff I missed while being out of town this weekend. While I'm sad to see the way trolls stroll in and stir up trouble, or even well meaning people just snapping and losing it here, I'm glad we managed to report/regain composure. You guys have been great in dealing with the hardships and I'm glad we have something like this new contest to focus on from now on. Thank you to everyone who linked to Mass Effect articles that I almost certainly would have never found myself, though special shout out to txmn. Also I lol'd at the cupcake thing, especially the mod's response to it. :lol:I hope someone sends pics/tells us when they get them.

Now time to catch up on the Kaidan thread...
