“But the painting is crap.”
“Yes, but it is artistic crap.”
If I may just point out something.. Crap sells for a lot, check this out:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist%27s_shit
About mid last decade I remember learning that a single black dot on canvas somewhere in Europe (Italy I think) sold for a million dollars.
I remember Voice of Fire sold to the National Gallery of Canada for some huge sum.
http://en.wikipedia....i/Voice_of_Fire
He might have gotten a better price if he added a green stripe
Yeah, but it isn't about this kind of "crap", that's abstract art.
No, if you want to do a regular painting and get everything wrong, but still defend it as art, that is what we have here.
No... that's crap. I recall my initial reaction when I heard that the National Gallery had paid millions for a red line in the middle of a white canvas, and infuriated rage is a mild way to describe it. The woman who authorized that payment wasn't buying a masterpiece, she was buying something made by a middle-of-the-road artist who had a government grant that identified him to the art gallery as an "artist", and thus everything he made was somehow better than anyone else.
It's the biggest white elephant in the room, and they're never allowed to forget it.

edit: I think the person who approved Voice of Fire would have nodded sagely if told about Nat Tate.

I think you're right to worry. I don't think many Retakers will actively cause problems, but as it's the majority of BioWare fans who seem to be upset, the less civil element will probably be out in force. Hopefully the BioDevs have thick skin, they'll need it.

Just add and (without the spaces) around the link you wanna post. Same for images, find the direct link to the image and use and (still without spaces) around your link.
One way to find the threads you're looking for is to use the search option with the name of the thread.
