Hey some people in the "so we can't get the endings..." thread are worried about if the donations are actually going towards child's play, can someone who understands the mechanics a tad better then I go answer and calm their fears?

Just donated as well, directly after experiencing the ending myself... My conclusion to that follows in the thread dedicated to that, but I also want to thank everyone for donating to this great cause!

May it bring some happiness to people less fortunate than us. What better way to escape Reality for a few moments than playing a great game^^

Less than $400 away from hitting the 7k mark. o_o Y-you guys.

It's such an awesome thing when fans get together to not only show their passion for what they love in a positive and civil manner, but in a way that it helps those in need.

I can't think of any game that has inspired anyone to do so. It really speaks volumes of the love we have for Bioware and their games and I hope that they acknowledge this in some way.

In the end though, the kids willl win by everyone's efforts. Seriously great job, guys.

For those who are leery about the setup, this is verbatim from ChildPlay's Fundraising PDF:

"If you’re running purely as an Internet based fundraiser, it is absolutely imperative that you link directly to the Child’s Play PayPal account though ChipIn. ChipIn allows you to collect metrics on how much your fundraiser collected without having to “touch” the money. By "touching" the money, you are technically accepting money privately and then deciding to contribute the funds to Child's Play."
