Makenzie, I have to ask. Is that Callisto from Xena?
Yeah she assumed direct control of my avatar awhile back! And frankly at time is has been all too descriptive of my emotions....
I love it

Since I can't post in the topic because of my game registering woes, I just wanted to pass along that I did donate and you folks are really doing something admirable with all of this, dear.

Hey some people in the "so we can't get the endings..." thread are worried about if the donations are actually going towards child's play, can someone who understands the mechanics a tad better then I go answer and calm their fears?

Donated again, so impressed with the response this has generated so far. Less than a day and its already over $5,000.
For those who are leery about the setup, this is verbatim from ChildPlay's Fundraising PDF:
"If you’re running purely as an Internet based fundraiser, it is absolutely imperative that you link directly to the Child’s Play PayPal account though ChipIn. ChipIn allows you to collect metrics on how much your fundraiser collected without having to “touch” the money. By "touching" the money, you are technically accepting money privately and then deciding to contribute the funds to Child's Play."

I signed up for one "at the beginning" and never used it. I might consider using it now...but the "conversations" and format really confuse the hell out of me

Can the OP post to show that the page is directly linked to Child's Play? In the PayPal window, it doesn't list Child's Play as the donation email.

The official receipt on your card is charged to Child's Play through Paypal...dunno if that helps. They discussed this topic earlier in the thread, I know.
