You know... Any person can yell and yell. As Garrus said "yell loud enough and someone will eventually come to see who's making so much noise". Anyone can post on the internet, whether politely or rudely. But you know what? It takes REAL men and women to take all of this passion we feel for the ending of ME3, all that disappointment and anger, and turn it into something good. Whatever BioWare and EA do doesn't matter at this point. We did something good. The Alliance, N7, Anderson and Shepard (FemShep in my mind) would all be proud of what we're doing here. THIS is for the children. Keelah Se'lai.
This. Exactly this.

So, to start off with a cliche, I never post on these forums, I'm a lurker, what can i say? But i feel the need to let everyone know, that i just learned that the funds raised so far are over $10,000USD. That is BEYOND amazing. I have never seen such a calm and rational outrage. Actually, to call this an outrage is a diservice. I am so proud of everyone right now and I think that this is awesome, maybe they didn't let Shepard overcome the odds, but maybe we can. And even if we don't, we've still accomplished something far greater than any of those crappy endings could have ever hoped to.
welcome - and well said!!
Hold the line!

Would it be possible, in a future show, for you to include a segment regarding the controversy surrounding the ME3 ending or, to be more specific, the "Retake Mass Effect 3" charity? These issues, originally seen as fan-flaming, are slowing getting more and more traction and I belive they are significant enough to the gaming community to merit a spot on your mailbox.
Originally the "Retake Mass Effect 3" charity was started as a both a protest against Bioware/EA for a less than spectacular end to the Mass Effect series and as an anti-protest against game review websites like giantbomb and Kotaku which criticized the movement saying that the community, to paraphrase, "were a bunch of self-entitled ***holes". Since then, the charity has raised over $10,000 in a single day and the "Retake Mass Effect 3" movment has gained the support of many other websites, including Forbes Magazine.
Regardless of your personal opinions on ME3 or on EA (and its marketing practices), I believe that including a segment on this would be fantastic addition to your next mailbox,. Helping to both increasing awarness for this charity, and that of Child's Play in general, as well to provide a real-life example of video gamers putting their money where their mouth is.
Thanks for listening and I'd love to hear your opinion on the situation.

Will be interested to see his resposne (if any). TB seems like a nice enough guy beneath the cynical persona he puts on and he did do a thing for Charity: Water a while back.

One big technical question, though, and I apologize in advance if this info has already been given and I missed it, but does chipin or the charity provide a receipt for tax purposes? I'm going to donate even if they don't, but honestly if I can write off the donation I can afford to donate much, much more.

You should be able to take a screen shot of the receipt they send you when you make the donation.
I don't think they mail one, but I did not read the FAQ.
