Out of curiosity, are the community theories about the #ME3 endings centralized in a forum thread?
Chris Priestly ‏ @BioEvilChris
@JessicaMerizan yes, because if the BSN is one thing, it is orderly. #sarcasm detector #thisbabyisoffthecharts

Not really polite, but...eh. I'm not sure what good burying your own forum does.

I agree.  And in his defense, he has to put up with a lot of sh*t in the main forums.  This place has become a safe haven from the kind of stuff I have actively tried to avoid since joining the BSN.

I ventured into the main forums a year ago...and honestly, ME3 is what brought me back. Bioware employees take a lot of ****- don't add to it. Treat them civilly, even when they make low blows. We're above Destructoid-level BS, people. We raised 11k in charity, don't taint that.

Wow... Chris Priestly just posted a very rude remark about the BSN.

And I called him out on it.

What did he say? I'm so surprised.

I'd link it if I knew how to link Twitter posts. Jessica Merizan asked if we had any centralized threads here about our theories to the endings. After I told her about the Hallucination thread (link included), Chris responded to her with this: "Chris Priestly[/b] ‏ @[/s]BioEvilChris[/b][/i] Reply[/b] [/i] Retweet[/b] [/i] Favorite[/b] · Open[/list]@[/s]JessicaMerizan[/b] yes, because if the BSN is one thing, it is orderly.#[/s]sarcasm[/b] detector #[/s]thisbabyisoffthecharts[/b]"

I then responded with: "
@[/s]BioEvilChris[/b] @[/s]JessicaMerizan[/b] That seems a little uncalled for, sir. Have you looked at the threads this weekend that are related to ME3? "

Did you mention the nearly $11,000.00 in charity we've all raised in less than a day? Seems pretty orderly/organized to me.

Oh, I told him, Jessica Merizan, Jennifer Hale, the ME Twitter, Seth Green and... One other who I can't remember about this charity drive.

Actually, Jessica Merizan was VERY pleasant about it. Even said she was proud of us.

Not really polite, but...eh. I'm not sure what good burying your own forum does.

I appreciate everyone noticing this, but two things I'd like to say:

1.  I don't view it as particularly scathing.  I certainly don't think there is enough context there to really interpret his intention.  It could almost be interpreted as a positive comment (the off the charts one, not necessarily the sarcasm one)

2. Regardless of whether or not he was digging on the movement to get a new ending, there is no reason for us to treat him as hostile.  Let's remember, 99% of this game was fantastic, and we do have him, at least partially, to thank for that.

Thanks for being so civil with your response, Erileth.

We wouldn't get anywhere if we were rude =) I think it was... Theodore Roosevelt (correct me if I'm wrong), that said "Talk softly, and carry a big stick." I always interpreted that as "stay civil, and carry a strong intention". If that makes sense. Nothing in life is gained by having a rude and scathing attitude.

Hmm, I was reading the article pointing out the cheap shot of advertising DLC after the ending, and I realized - this is just how I felt!

Lol, this has come up many times over the past 30 pgs or so.  I'm convinced that no one actually knows how to do this (myself included, obviously).

I asked Stanely Woo if he would sticky it. He was very polite and understanding, but declined for the time being. It was hit call to make and unless he or other mods see otherwise, that's your answer for now. He at least took the time to say so and didn't ignore the request.

Did he state a reason or politely decline?

Well just keep bumping it. This will give you the satisfaction you missed from the ending people and it is turning into a major symbol of power.

Thanks for getting in touch with him, it was definitely worth a shot.

I can totally understand them not wanting to sticky this.  We are doing... way beyond anyone's wildest expectations even still :)
