This is a great under taking! Its stunning in scale to what were up against and were going to help some children along the way. It is truly something Commander Shepard himself would support if he could!!
You mean if she could

What saddens me about all of this is that despite all the good work RetakeME3 is trying, the stunning lack of any kind of commentary (as in, straightforward, logical and in some way understandable...I'm looking at YOU, Casey Hudson) from Bioware regarding the endings and what should be done seems to indicate (to me, at least) that nothing will be changed. I'm actually expecting at some point to see the devs say "We stand by our product; we're not changing a thing".
Sigh. Yeah. And that makes me a little sad. But this is definitely making me feel better.

It's likely that Bioware has at least a rough outline of future DLC and their plans for the Mass Effect franchise, but marketing won't let them discuss it until those plans are actually finalised. It's standard procedure in just about every industry, I think.

I think they released something on the MP DLC today actually, yes?
And in any case, I don't think it will be released in Japan until Thursday, so they can't comment on the endings until then anyway.

Warm and fuzzy feelings:lol:
I agree.
Even if Bioware don't add brighter ending for those who felt left behind, i'm proud to be part of this great human event.
screw the " because there is no happy end in real life ! "
Better get an insatisfactory ending in a game and achive something good IRL, this is what "fighting for" is all bout even without guns or rifle.

You know what, if this is the case... Look back at this thread, at what we did, and be damned PROUD of what we have done for the children. We stood up and voiced our concerns. And we turned all that passion and emotion into something good, instead of flaming and raging like most people would on the internet. We turned it into a growing sum of money to give to this amazing charity. I gave up eating today for this. And not because I want a video game. because I feel going one day without food is completely WORTH putting a smile on a terminally-ill child's face. If BioWare and EA decide to be stubborn and ignore us (even though that would risk harming their revenue further), oh well. It's their loss. I will quote that wise man again (I wish I could remember his name): "It is better to have tried, and failed, than never to have tried at all." Nothing comes from inaction. Keelah Se'lai.
Shepard, we salute you.

Dammit, come Friday, I'm going to post an article about the generally saintly conduct I've seen on this thread. When people say gamers are wasting their lives, and denyign the real world...I'm going to point to this.

Pfft! I don't see why they need to bother waiting. They're not exactly secrets anymore. Their silence on this matter is toxic.
