Thank you to Rosery99 for coordinating between threads here on BSN.

Thank you to SoHARDCORE for coordinating with the other Retake efforts.

Thank you to DrowVampyre for the Kirrahe poster and sig graphic.

Thanks to everyone who is supporting this idea.

You guys did so awesome!

Dammit, come Friday, I'm going to post an article about the generally saintly conduct I've seen on this thread. When people say gamers are wasting their lives, and denyign the real world...I'm going to point to this.

cheers :D

To the creators of this thread I must say to you what a special man in my Shep's life (three guesses who, first two don't count =P) "What you've done here is create hope." You've created hope for fans who couldn't play any ME games because of their depression over the ending and, more importantly, you've created it for hundreds of sick children. A salute to you my friends and here's to the next $10,000. Let's keep holding the line guys!

I have to admit, I got distracted from your post because you made me think of that scene.

But don't worry, I went back and read it! Hold the line!

So, my husband is about to finish his first playthrough of ME3. I look forward to telling him what I have been involved in all day when he comes raging to me about the ending.

Just tell him to donate and it'll make the ending that much less suckier :). And you'll feel great about yourself!

Out of curiosity, are the community theories about the #ME3 endings centralized in a forum thread?
Chris Priestly ‏ @BioEvilChris
@JessicaMerizan yes, because if the BSN is one thing, it is orderly. #sarcasm detector #thisbabyisoffthecharts

Not really polite, but...eh. I'm not sure what good burying your own forum does.

I appreciate everyone noticing this, but two things I'd like to say:

1.  I don't view it as particularly scathing.  I certainly don't think there is enough context there to really interpret his intention.  It could almost be interpreted as a positive comment (the off the charts one, not necessarily the sarcasm one)

2. Regardless of whether or not he was digging on the movement to get a new ending, there is no reason for us to treat him as hostile.  Let's remember, 99% of this game was fantastic, and we do have him, at least partially, to thank for that.

Thanks for being so civil with your response, Erileth.

That's right. We should remeber that two notices. :D
99% of this game was fantastic. <- +1

... This quote seems... Well, pretty relevant.
Shepard: "What if they won't LISTEN?"
Anderson: "Then MAKE them listen!!"

Just donated 20 dollars, and feel great about it!
The fact that a community can come together to support a great cause AND pitch forward to change a company to do something is amazing.
