Well im done for the day. Just want to thank everyone again for making this all possible and for the fantastic day this has been. I woke up, came in the BSN with depression ready to rant some more but came out satisfied with a smile as if BioWare really did add an alternate ending. I've said it before but regardless of what happens, ill remember the ME3 endings as the day when we donated $10,000 for charity.

Heres to another $10,000!

Donated this morning and came back tonight to jaw-dropping results - more than 10000 in a day! Woah, a lot of good came out of this and it's inspiring! I might be tearing up a little, don't mind me.

We can do it, guys. We're starting to turn heads. Everyone can see us now, even if some of them wish to ignore us. Don't back down. Shepard never backed down, and S/He's a legend. Anderson never backed down. Grunt fought off Rachni BY HIMSELF, and won, then walked back to the shuttle. He didn't back down. As long as we have each other, and we keep a cool, calm demeanor, we can do anything. Even put a smile on a child's face, without ever really meeting them. Helping your friends makes you good. But helping those you have never met, makes you a hero. Keelah Se'lai. Hold the Line.

Donated $25 dollars, and I will donate more later this week. I may not be motivated to play Mass Effect 3 right now, but this has given me purpose so I feel better.

Keep going everyone! It's wonderful that we can all chip in as anonymous gamers to stand for one cause and one goal!

Alright, I'm going to rack out for the night. Everyone...it's awe inspiring to see a group of people become a force of nature. Friday on Robotgeek, I expect to have a list of people who have conducted themselves above and beyond the call of duty. Keep donating. hold the line.

I just came back from inactivity, last I checked this was at just $2,000! To all of those thanking me, unique, drow, and rosery. It wasn't just us who pulled it off, it's all of you and your generosity and willingness to donate! Keep doing what you do best, and hold the line!

Wondered when we'd see you again.  Welcome back! :D

Thanks for the warm welcome back! Let's see if we can break 14 or 15k tonight guys! 2 hours left in the first 24 hours! Amazing job so far ^_^

I am literally waiting for it to get to $12980 and then donating my $20.  I feel like being number 13000 here and the 16000th like on the FB page can only bring good kharma and luck.

Regrettably, I wasn't able to donate much. Once I get paid next week, I'm going to try and give more. This is certainly a worthwhile direction for our passion to take.

To the creators of this thread I must say to you what a special man in my Shep's life (three guesses who, first two don't count =P) "What you've done here is create hope." You've created hope for fans who couldn't play any ME games because of their depression over the ending and, more importantly, you've created it for hundreds of sick children. A salute to you my friends and here's to the next $10,000. Let's keep holding the line guys!

I have to admit, I got distracted from your post because you made me think of that scene.

But don't worry, I went back and read it! Hold the line!

Glad you made it through it. I just figured that seemed really appropriate for this drive and it's creators. And we might actually make it to $15000 in 24 hours! Even if all donations stopped right now this community has accomplished a wonderful thing.

First time poster here, just made my first time donation to this worthy cause.

Love Bioware, loved the game, but hated the ending, and I get called an "entitled brat" by the snarky corporate gaming press? Its all good -

Hold the line.

Wondering if they'll fix their abhorrent ending to an amazing series? Doesn't matter, because we're going to make some sick kid's day brighter -

Hold the line.

Realizing that no matter what, Shepard and all the beloved characters of our favorite story are still a part of us and inspire us to be better human beings?

Oh yeah, Major Kirrahe, we're holding the line just fine.

I hear ya, I couldn't donate that much either. I'm just trying to support it as much as possible. But to be apart of this feels truly amazing.

So, my husband is about to finish his first playthrough of ME3. I look forward to telling him what I have been involved in all day when he comes raging to me about the ending.

  Oi. Condolences haha
