 Hey! All this talk of helping Child's Play showing we are devoted in a positive way to the Mass Effect 3 ending controversy made me actually use my account. I'd be willing to donate, I just want to know how we plan on correlating our donations to our cause. We can donate all day long but we need to put a reason as to how it all fits together. If someone can answer than that'd be great!

Either way I'm glad to see this sort of thing going on.

A link as in the URL or "click this and it takes you to the page"? Cause anyone can do the latter - for the former I can put it on there, once we have one.

A link as in the URL, or if the URL becomes too complicated (e.g. www.childsplay.com/312741098y35v0uhf8gw45hadfhsguih) then a link to the Facebook page, which houses information on this and other things partaining to the game.

The way ChipIn works is you dedicated the donations to a single group or play, as I saw it. So we are dedicating the donations to the RetakeME3 Movement going on here, it's a single link that iwll be up tommorow in THIS thread, so dont donate until you hear me or UN state that the link is up. After that you just need money in your paypal. Thank you for supporting the children and our cause.

I've got the CP logo ready to stick on it - they have a link specifically to download the logo on their website, so I'm assuming it's ok. Has anyone looked into it to know for sure?

It will all be handled through a main page for us to donate to our specific cause, which tracks the amount donated and the number of donat...dona...donatees? (lol). The page probably won't be up until tommorow (last I read from UniqueName001) but until then donating on your own still doesn't hurt! In fact, I encourage donating even if it doesn't help our cause!

Ok awesome! I was thinking we'd just donate and maybe in our donation would be able to write why we donated. Now that there will be a main page that shows our overall donation together I'm completely on board.

Thanks for the quick response. Shows that we're not all "self entitled" brats as kotaku was saying a few days ago.

Seems like people are donating directly to CP. Might want to add something to the original post saying something about waiting for the Chipin to be established before donating, that this is a work in progress, etc. Something along those lines. While I heartily approve of people's enthusiasm and generosity, it's important to be on the same page in order to make the greatest impact.

There will be a specific page on ChipIn that will have the logo, petition, and ChipIn account.  The account will be in the name of "Retake Mass Effect - Child's Play", all donations will be in that name.

Individuals will be able to put links to the ChipIn page which have the name and a meter of how we are doing toward our goal.

Looks great to me! If you have any more touching up you want to do feel free to, other than your personal view of it the poster seems about ready to go! (aside from the url)

The current signature banner seems to fit well enough. It doesn't emphasize Child's Play but the majority of people are using it, which means more for BioWare to see of it. However if you want to create a Child's Play / ME3 oriented one I wouldn't be opposed to it, and would probably use it myself!

When it's officially done, you should send it on to the Facebook Retake people so they can post it on their page.

As best as I can tell from the website, I don't believe there is any issue using the Child's Play logo. Just to be sure I am putting the question into the charity coordinator. For now let's assume that it will be OK.
